Most people don't need one of these, but if you do, and also use Photoshop / LR (which you probably do if you need one of these), then this a massive bargain. I use mine with DisplayCAL software.
Could I use this to calibrate my plasma TV?

Could I use this to calibrate my plasma TV?

No. Unless you’re using it as a monitor for your PC.

Could I use this to calibrate my plasma TV?

Yes, just hook a laptop or pc up to the tv. I only used mine last week to do 2 TVs in my house

What are the benefits of the i1. I do have monitors to calibrate as well but they don't have the detailed adjustments that my plasma does and they're IPS or VA anyway so I wouldn't expect the results to be amazing.

There are options where you click what manual adjustments you can make. The software can then just create a windows 10 colour profile that takes care of the rest. I haven’t tried that option so I can’t tell you how good it is to be honest

This will explain the differences in more detail blog.xritephoto.com/201…ro/

It basically comes down to one being able to read faster than the other so if you have no need for the Adobe software, it might be better to save your money and buy the Colormunki.

I have this and its great to use the profiles especially when using multiple monitors, one thing no one tells you is that if you want to calibrate more than 4 at a time the i1Profiler software can't handle this so you have too disable all the rest and work through them 4 at a time which can be a slight inconvenience.
