£1400 on a PC that has a processor that is already 2 generations behind, has an 18 month old GPU, and no mention of the PSU used. Even the marketing team couldn't think of a good reason why a gaming focused PC has 32gb of ram.

Not sure been looking at building but this seems to tick most of the boxes for me needed for the kids gaming and my music and films

It'll certainly do anything. You're pretty much getting it for the price of the parts.

Goods specs for the price, will play every game maxed out at 1080P, will need to turn the settings down at 4K for most demanding games.

You cannot build a system for the same price especially if you include the warranty. The Core i7 6700K in the system is overclocked to 4.4GHZ according to the specs, and it is running under an AIO water cooling unit.

The case is an In Win 805 Aluminium Mid-Tower which is selling for £150 on Overclockers UK.

It supposedly comes with two games too.

There are reviews of two different configurations of the system:

The system for sale looks like the model sent to eTeknix but with a bigger SSD,a 750W FSP Raider PSU and a three year warranty instead of the one year warranty of the review system.

Still a bit expensive I'd say.

I choose my set that I built a few days ago, is cheaper and more future

Like I said you can't do the build for the same money.

That is with a cheap £27 case - the system in the OP has a £150 case.

You also used a cheaper air cooler, whereas the prebuilt has an AIO water cooler, uses a faster M2 SSD and has 32GB of 2400MHZ RAM instead of 16GB. The Core i7 7700k is a higher clocked Core i7 6700k and the prebuilt is already overclocked.

The thing is if you look at the parts and discount the Core i7 6700k and Z170 for one second:
1.)The case is £150
2.)The RAM is at least £250 to £280(at least £125ish to £140 for 16GB 2400MHZ DDR4)
3.)The motherboard and CPU are worth at least £350
4.)The water cooler is £50
5.)The 3TB drive is £70
6.)The GTX1080 is at least £450
7.)Windows 10 is £100
8.)The PSU is probably worth at least £50

Even at the low end of the estimate that is at least £1400,excluding the three year collect and return warranty, and the system already has been configured to run overclocked.

Sure,a Core i7 8700K would be nicer, but that is at least £370 for an OEM CPU alone if you can get one in stock.
