Found 22nd Jan 2012
Noticed that Asda are selling 1kg Iams for £3.00 - usually £5.00.

330g packs normally sell at or around £2.00 so this is a bargain.

IAMS adult in chicken contains daily nutrition for adult cats from one to seven years old. The new and delicious recipes of IAMS' dry foods will help your cat to enjoy meal times even more. The high quality ingredients create a taste sensation your cat will love and also ensure she gets all the nutrients she needs. Each meal time is packed with a high content of animal based protein and selected natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals.
IAMS contains no added colours, flavours or preservatives, but vitamin E to support the immune system and Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids for healthy skin and shiny coat.

I saw the Jamie Oliver series. Those male chicks must go somewhere in the foodchain.

They're macerated and turned into fertilizer to grow vegetables. Y'know, the things vegetarians like.

Interesting. I had a lengthy discussion with the cat about this site and why she should boycott eating Iams, but she completely ignored me.

So I'm afraid she's going to continue eating the stuff whatever happens.

I got a haughty glare that sent me scurrying to the cupboard to refill her bowl.So I'm afraid she's going to continue eating the stuff whatever happens.

Id recommend Orijen dried food if you want to feed your cat decent quality dry food.
Can be had from Zooplus with 10% discount plus 5% quidco and free UK delivery and is decent value in bulk, customer reviews sum it up zooplus.co.uk/sho…jen
Seems a decent price for it. Luckily mine prefers Applaws, so I don't have to get caught up in the ethical bit of it all
Orjen is great but expensive. I am seriously considering switching to it though.
+1 to Applaws and Orijen, far better food
Had a few bags in my local at this price, thanks

You get 10% off your first order, I ordered last week and was sent an e-voucher for a further 10% off my next order and Quidco tracked within a day or two. If you pay by Bank Transfer, which is the way they do business in Germany, there is a further 2% or something "smart discount". I just paid it through online banking and got it deducted at checkout. So ended up getting 10% discount for first order, 5% quidco and the 2% for paying by bank transfer. If you order a few months worth of food for your pet then it gives you a nice discount.
Compare the meat content in IAMS to this Orijen, there is a significant difference and no cereal content.
I think there is a 10% coupon that still works if this isnt your first order "zooplusnc-codesuk"
