Damn. Missed that!

one of the only foods my cat can eat without throwing up!

There is a CARCINOGENIC PRESERVATIVE IN THIS!!!

They are;
- butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and/or
- butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
and/or
- ethoxyquin
and you are effectively killing your pet slowly!!!!

This may save you money in the short term but wait until later down the line, when your cat/dog gets cancer & you have to pay rising vet fees for treatment plus as a bonus watch your cat/dog suffer!!!

There are foods like Vets Kitchen, Encore, Applaws, Orijen & Acana plus more,that use natural preservatives like Tocopherol (Vitamin E).....

You make sure your children eat well & make sure they don't eat things that will kill them, then do the same for your cat/dog too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Zooplus offers a massive range of dog dry foods at a range of price points so one can use that to find the right food for your dog - just make sure that it has a natural preservative

naturelover, I appreciate your post.
However, this is is not a post of what cat food is best, it is about the price of subject, and what deal it represents. We all want the best for our pets, that goes without saying.

Smilla cat food (no grain) much superior to this and roughly the same price on zooplus.co.uk

Or get them on the Bozita wet food

Applaws had melamine in it!

What I post above is a Public Health Warning for Humans Feeding Cats.

Why shouldn't I make people aware of cancer causing ingredients to everyone....I'm sure if it was related to children's food you wouldn't have put the above down & would want to know if it were children's' food, so why should it be different for much loved family pets????

Pets companies are making millions because;
- of their huge marketing budgets suck people in to thinking that XXXX is best for cats
- peoples' ignorance or lack of knowledge about what is healthy for their cats

Therefore, if my posts help even one person make the right choice about their cats food purchases & extends or saves a cat's life, then it has been worth it!

Erm, that's what water is for.

Took my newly-acquired cat to the vet, was shown the tartar on the back teeth and was told dry food only. That's good enough for me.
