Recently, I found a deal for the latest Xiaomi thermometer and this is an even better value if you need 4 of them. Previously the deal was £3.62 each. Now, it's £3.39 each. Nice one!

With the 1st generation of this thermometer I can check the basement's temperature from my bedroom on the first floor.
Awesome and can be the part of your ecosystem, controlling AC heating and everything else which is compatible and can communicate through the Xiaomi BT gateway.
So the 2nd generation is even smaller and does the same thing!

I remember, back in time I paid around £10 for one of the 1st gen.
Now I paid £10.87 recently. I should have waited a bit....
Never mind, better price, better deal now!
3372525.jpgMain Features:
● Link with smart device via Mijia Bluetooth Gateway
● Baby mode reminder
● Ultra low power consumption, 1 x CR2032 battery can be powered for about 1 year
● High precision sensor
● Expressions help you understand temperature and humidity

I don’t know why people buy thermometers in England! Everyone knows it’s shiite weather every single day!
Got these when they were last posted. Just to let you know they are not as accurate as the bigger round ones which is around £9 for one. It's out by 1 to 2 Degrees Celsius.

that's why we need them for indoor!
Op, you can't pay with PayPal as you suggest on this chinesse car boot sale, and that's why is a big NO for many.
Do these work with smarthings does anyone know?

Thanks

39478043-ATIXq.jpgyes, you can but there is a little additional fee. The total would be £14.05 with a fee free card. Still not bad tbh...

My experience is that Aliexpress are good at resolving disputes and virtually everything I've bought used tracked delivery. If you're dropping £100's then maybe some extra caution is needed, but for 13 quid it's hardly a massive gamble.

None of the Xiaomi products works with Smartthings, but it does work with some tweaks, with some device handlers available on GitHub.

I don't mind paying the difference but this option wasn't available when I wanted to order something else. I think it dependent by the seller.

Is not about the amount of money, but I don't trust them that much to input a credit card on that website. I know, they'll not steal my money, but they can steal a lot of money and data from all of us. And they don't seem to trust Western companies like PayPal.

I am pretty happy with the option I have with Revolut paying with a disposable virtual card or creating a virtual card and set up the exact limit I want so nobody is able to take more than that.

do you need a central hub with these?
@sisqoboy2 Where you have that £16,94 from? There are tons of sellers for same or lower price. You save nothing - no deal.

Yeah I use other Xiaomi sensors using various devise handlers for smarthings. So are there device handlers for these do you know?

Thanks

Not sure about this particular one or rounded one didn't seen anywhere but there are some device handlers for Temperature and Humidity Sensor square one without LCD screen.

For the smart features, looks like you need the Mijia Bluetooth Gateway
Good for keeping an eye on the coke plants without regular suspicious visits to the shed
I use the Mijia ones without display. Use an old phone as a gateway with macrodroid to control my heating at night. Work better than my hive TRVs.
