This is somewhat like the other deal posted but there is now a fantastic offer between the 16th and 29th October, the more you save the more money you get free

We always give our Bonus Card customers £1 free for every £20 saved. Between 16 and 29 October we'll also give you an extra £1 bonus for every £10* you save

Bonuses will be loaded onto your card by 2 November.

The more you save, the more bonuses you'll receive.

Go through Topcashback for 1%. I loaded the Bonus card with £300 and got £3 from TBC pending.

Max card balance is £1000 and you have to spend your bonuses by November 2022. Finally, small print that is actually fairly benign!

I ran this through google translate and it just responded with ‘WTF?’

Fancy trying again as I have zero idea as to what point you are trying to make....

Great so just bang 100 quid on for 15% discount on your shop after Noveber 2nd. COOL. (highfive).

Can you top up online or just in store? Couldnt see an option on my online account.

Can you do 3 separate transactions of £20 to get £9 back? If anyone knows if that will work?

There is no option to do this however.

Bonus card account is distinct from the on-line shopping account. Think of it as rather like Nectar and Sainsburys, you need two accounts and then join up the reward card to your shopping account. At Iceland, the credit/debit card top-up of Bonus Card is using the shopping account and NOT in using the Bonus Card account.

The bonus is not paid based on how many transactions you do, but on the total top up added during the promotional period. Given you would have added £50, you would have a bonus of £7 added.

Do I just go in store, ask for one of these cards and load £100 straight into it at once for a £115 value card?

Yes, Bonus Card T&C's 9 , "Savings can be added at any time in participating Iceland stores by way of cash and/or debit/credit card payment."

You can only load the card In store and even then your deposit won’t appear as available for several days.

Pretty neat deal - I have benefitted from the usual 1 extra on a load of 20 in the past but the bonus bit sweetens it a lot -:) think 20*3 to get 9 off is the best bang for buck

About time they had an app for mobile phone

Iceland's T&C, no. 9 states, "Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for your Savings to be added to your Bonus Card."

If your experience is more days than this then tell them that they are not following their own terms.

I'm all ways against this bonus because the card marks the staff how many they get on savings. Because they have to keep asking the customer if you shop in their regular basis.

Late night was it ? Or perhaps we are still going ....

I saw this on Facebook earlier and thought worth a go, I hardly shop in there but for xmas bits it’s worth just putting £20 on to get £3 back. I know it says the bonus will be added on 2nd November, after that can you spend it whenever you want or do you have to wait for a certain date? Sorry, never really looked into this one before!

Oh this is cool I have £5 off £20 spend vouchers so I'm going to split my shopping into 3 get £15 off my shopping put the £15 on my card then just add an extra £5 so technically I get £18 free :-)

Yes, the cashier is selling money vouchers with a discount of 5% or 15% (because the money put in Bonus Card is not usable for anything else other than shopping).

Normally a £5 off £40 online shop too, plus TCB (although Iceland declined mine!!).

Could stick just over £40 on, wait til it's added with bonus, and then combine with the delivery offer.

Also if you're with Lloyds Banking Group, Santander or Nationwide check your offers in Online Banking - they sometimes have 10% cashback etc.

I had one a few weeks ago and was tempted to use it just to lead the bonus card, combining it with this would be ideal!

Nice!!!! Going to get a bonus card tomorrow, thanks

For those who do not have a bonus card. You will get a temporary card. You cannot load money onto this card. You have to wait for your permanent card to come through the post. This can take upto 2 weeks. So not sure if you will receive by 29th Oct. Could apply and hope you get on time.

Can the card be topped up online too - coz I don't think Iceland have in-store Quidco/TCB?

But this bit certainly isn't benign:

"Your Bonus Card will automatically expire 24 months after the last time you use it and any remaining balance will expire and will not be retrievable."

So fail to use your card for 24 months and they claw back everything you've paid into it. Absolutely no justification for that whatever - apart from sheer profiteering.

Thats the standard (not saying right in anyways ofcourse) for most/all gift cards across the industry - the whole thing is a sham. The onus is clearly on us as the customers to ensure we use up the money locked on the cards - sucks I know.
