Fresh pure pork sausages from Iceland. Usually £2 elsewhere.

Can be pan fried or microwaved.

Serve with chips.

These are really juicy and contain the freshest ingredients and lean pork cuts, and spicy herbs.

I deep fried some last week, with some chips and they tasted wonderful.

Works out at around 13p per corner.

Thanks.

Haha
Who microwaves sausages
Thanks for the heads up.
Toxic filth. Weapons grade.
Awful sausage
I had forgotten how bad they were, and grabbed a pack last year, when my fav Bratwurst sausage was sold out.

"Tastless Mush" is the nearest I can come to describing them in polite company.

Ex-vegetarians like the OP.

No idea how these can be described as pure pork when the ingredients are

pure pork How is 43% pork "pure"? I think "pure sh*te" might be a better description!
Mega HOT!!!!!
The best sausages ever. Nothing is more tasty & delicious with some mash, peas & gravy!
Been away somewhere First officer? Hopefully not food poisoning!

Trebs,

Just to clarify, this is actually made from 100% pure pork. Well at least the 43% of it is. It's similar to chicken burgers out there - when they say it's made with '100% pure chicken breast', the ingredients won't be 100% chicken! It can't be or else there would be no flavouring etc.

Hope you understand the complex maths behind this.

Kindest regards

Richmond sausages/pure pork/ fresh ingredients have never been seen in the same sentence before.
These things barely qualify as food never mind a sausage.

If you are a reformed vegetarian do yourself a favour and buy decent sausages no amount of cooking of flavouring would convince me to eat these again.

PS
I`m glad the chips tasted wonderful

Yes there would be riots!
Just noticed the colouring as well (cochineal) - beetles blood - yes it is in a lot of stuff as a natural food colouring, but don't like to know.

Why not? That's less than a fiver per kg. Where can you get meat that cheap at the butcher's ?
Would love to in on a boardroom meeting when the chef (?) brings in a silver platter full of their sausages for them to sample. 43% pork ! can't we get that down to 30% much better returns and the stupid Joe public won't even notice.

You can get many decent cuts of meat for less than £5/Kg. There are also plenty of 72% pork sausages about half that in all major supermarkets.
Not sure about the relevance of comparing Richmond sausages with meat from a Butcher though.

Prove it & post them so we can all see for ourselves these 70% full pork sausages in supermarkets for £2.50 a kilo.
Edited by: "SixtyFive" 29th Jun
Ok not £2.50… but 72% pork and not even on offer, bound to find cheaper if I could be bothered, even Waitrose have similar price, 65% £2.70 I think a kilo.

I'd like to add that's it's not all about numbers. I've tried some 99% pork sausages which tastes disgusting and

The quality of these is incomparable with the Richmond ones. Despite the percentage, the sausages contain a lot of grisle.

I'm going to be BBQing these today - can't wait

Gristle, the Richmond ones are ground so fine you cannot tell what you are eating.
