We found another batch of cheap flights and accommodation for any of you wanting to experience Iceland and The Northern Lights.

This package flies from Manchester to Reykjavik on December 2nd- Reykjavik is the most Northern Capital (of a Sovereign State) on the planet and despite not getting a vast amount of daylight in the Winter months, is in the perfect place to experience Aurora Borealis. Plus, with a massive range of bars, restaurants and cafes, you'll find plenty of places to get a hearty meal and a warm drink to stave off the cold.

Check out the details and get it booked before the flights go up in price

That's fantastic. Paid over £430 for my flight on the same date ( Different location , but that's beside the point , I wish I had held on ) .

Heat added.

Stacey? Have you changed your name? Sorry if you've already 'announced' it (I've been away!)

What? From where? I've never seen it that much before

Is it hard to get around Iceland if we opt not to rent a car? None of us have experience driving in snowy places.

hi,
don't want to hijack this thread but could one of the holiday gurus do there thing for holidays in august again. I missed the last lot and my situation has changed and can know go. selfish but what would suite me is 2 adults + 1x16 + 1x14 flying from london airport ( gatwick/heathrow) middle of august for 7or 11 nights. any location considered.

any way hot deal. voted.

7 days may be a little long , but price wise to a real bargain for 3 nights easyjet we are paying £189 flights, £90 accomodation and transfers £25

yeah I think a bit too long as well. I fancy about three nights then it doesn't eat into my annual leave either

Done 7 night's and it was brilliant... fantastic skiing,

best time to see the lights at the end of the year is sep-oct does anyone know what the chances of seeing them at the very start of december is ?
