I never knew Pukka made microwave pies! Heat. And gravy.
if you microwave pukka pies you don't deserve pukka pies.

Oven done pastry is the best, & that is half of any pies essence. #oldschool

You can put them in the oven, too, but if stretched for time they can be microwaved. Perfect for lunch when working and ready in no time.
I'd try these even though I'm doubtfull that the only thing that matches the description is that they're a pie.

Anything more is a bonus but that aside I can add some new or mashed taters plus veggies for a cheap and easy midweek meal.

Perfectly done in the microwave if you like your pasty soggy.

Id rather buy 2 x fresh pies for £2 which have not been frozen and are bigger and with crispy pastry.
No thanks, soggy pastry. Pukka pies are great but should only be done in the oven for flaky pastry and they're nearly always a pound each somewhere.
Always this price somewhere, not half bad to be fair
I was amazed at how good these were for a "microwave" pie. Really tasty pastry and plenty filling. Good size too. Got mine from Tesco - same price.

And to those that are thinking "soggy pastry" - really, it isn't. I was so surprised when I did them and very skeptical of the result but got a surprise. It's shortcrust so is a bit 'crumbly' in texture but most definitely not soggy. I think that must have been a concern when they were working on the recipe.

Short crust is ok, but if prefer to oven bake an in a batch of 4 & eat em crisp & cold for lunch, short crust is hard work at times. It's a "utility pie" for emergency eats in uncertain environs ..like a hard tack ration

That's the sort of input to which I am referring, psy may have won me over to try one, ...just not microwaved.
Put it in the microwave then add chips, beans, smothered with pepper and ketchup, then put it in a bread and butter sandwich...

Beleive me... it's gonna get soggy any way so doesn't matter if it's microwaved or not
Same in Morrisons

Same in Morrisons

Yep. Just back from Morrisons and I thought I'd drop a comment in this thread too.

Three varieties - Chicken and Gravy, All Steak and my fave - Minced Beef & Onion. All £2 also. Can't wait to see if the MB&O are as nice as the C&G.

Update 19/2: Minced Beef & Onion - absolutely delicious!
