Sorry to sound negative Rayman but this thing is a bit of antique these days. The maps and software are too old to be of much use now. If you want to go for Navamn then the F20 can be had for not much more than this these days.

Partial post code search
old sirfstar chip
no way of loading speed cameras

this is not a good deal spend the extra £30 or so and get something decent, sorry Rayman

That's okay Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

Rayman - in another thread you recommended not going for this because it does not do full postcodes and you recommended the F20 instead for the additional money (I've been going through all the recent satnav threads). Those 33k posts are taking their toll.......:whistling:

The F20 can be had from Ebuyer for £115 but I'm tempted by the ex-top of the range Navman icn750 for £159 from Tesco (posted by Saxo) and it comes with mains charger and European road maps...

Hehe You could be right  The sad thing is I can't remember posting that :w00t: Are you sure it was me?

:giggle:

Actually Rayman you're right - it wasn't you, it was Edi (but you Mods all look the same )

Sorry - must be me that needs to lie down for a little while.......

Yeah.. it was me :giggle:

Prefer a F20 (touch screen menu + Full postcode search + large screen) to iCN330 (click wheel menu + 5 digit search) , although I own the later ;-)

What about the Mio C510E?
Got mine from dabs@ £130 (is supposed to be a refurb but I can't see a mark on it, and comes with 2 year warranty)
Spec includes Street level maps of Europe, Bluetooth ...and if you check out sites like hugginsnet.com/ilo…io/ you discover it can be unlocked to reveal WinCE platform & used as a PDA for movies, mp3, games, utilities and more. Also has 2GB SD slot - these are cheap at Play.com at the moment @ £8.99.

I did see a thread last week of someone picking one of these up in Asda for £70...a steal.
