ID Mobile are offering via uSwitch a SIM only deal with 9GB of Data with 300 minutes and unlimited texts for £10 a month. This includes data rollover to the following month if you have any remaining data and your usual inclusive EU roaming.

The best bit for me is, this is a 30 day rolling contract and beats the price of many other networks that sign you into a 12 month deal with a similar amount of data for £10. While not as good as last month's deal, where they were offering 10GB of data for £10 a month (which I took advantage of!), this is still a good deal.

This deal can only be obtained by going to uSwitch and navigating to their SIM Only price comparison page, as exclusive to them and not offered on ID Mobiles own webpage.
(I am not allowed to post a link to the deal directly, as I assume uSwitch get commission and HUKD don't allow that.)

ID Mobile use Three's network, getting exactly same signal strengths as when I was them, and data speeds seem compariable. (20-40mb for me depending on time of day.) They don't seem to throttle their internet speeds like some virtual networks.

Even though this is a 30 day rolling contract, users should not confuse ID Mobile with the likes of Giff Gaff, Voxi, and Smarty, where these operate as a Pay As You Go SIMs and you buy a bundle in advance... ID Mobile credit check all customers and you get billed for your call charges and bundles, and gets taken by Direct Debit.

...but it supports WiFi calling, so I personally think it makes up for such downside, as particularly for some strange reason all networks have poor indoor signal strength in my home
Unfortunately ID does not work well for me, including in central London
My contract with EE is up in August, can I change to this now? It says I’m eligible for a standard upgrade.
Good deal but bad experiences for me dropping out trying to stream music while driving around the country, EE hardly ever drops out.
Done! Amazing, I’m with 3 at the moment within 4G data for £9 a month sim only, this is a no brained for me Thanks
Can ID users use the wifi on the Underground? If so will move to this.
Even with great signal three's 3g internet is faster than their 4g at times. Only with them because of unlimited data for £7

I think many users of MVNOs that don't have access to the London Underground wifi just keep another PAYG SIM active in order to use it (costs pennies on Three, but whether the hassle of remembering to keep the Three SIM active every month is worth it really depends on how much better the ID Mobile deal is compared to your current one).
does it support short sms

got my plusnet pac code ready
considering these, 4G calling gives us an excellent signal even though normally i cant get one off them/3
just need to decide on a decent mid range 4G calling phone now, P30 lite seems interesting

Not sure what you mean by short SMS.

ID allow you to port your number from other UK networks, I can’t see why PlusNet Mobile would be any different if they can provide a PAC code.
Any TCB/Quidco on this deal?

As you can only get this deal via clicking through from uSwitch, I doubt it.
Quidco will take you to ID Mobiles normal website, and the deal is not showing on there.

Thanks.
do they keep price increasing like virgin media? also could I keep my current number
any idea how long this deal will be on?
If only ID mobile had more countries for roaming in. Currently they don't do Switzerland etc. Hopefully they add these soon as.

Great news for all you iD Mobile SIM only customers! There will be no RPI price increase for you in 2019.So your monthly plan stays at the same low price. We don't just say we put customers first... it's the third year in a row we've done this. It's our way of saying thank you for staying with us.

And yes you can can your number
Transfer is very easy and done via iD app

Those of you struggling with signal- Try voxi. Runs off Vodafone. £10 pcm for 6gb, free calls texts etc and social media doesn’t come off data allowance. Rolling monthly contract. Works for me in Cumbria!
Any good contract deals with iD?
I've been on three and ID for around 8 years now, I travel the country doing various jobs and I've got to say I don't know what other people are doing but I seem to always have a decent usable signal pretty much where ever I go.
I can upgrade to this sim only deal but with 10gb of data, I usually have around 2-3 gb left over.
Be aware that you can only order one at a time via the uSwitch link and each order requires a credit check which means the second order is denied! ID mobile are limiting to one per order. Pain when moving the family over to them!
Work great for me then my £10 went up to £30 from add ons BUT I didn’t have any extras phoned customer Services every day. Always said they would sort it and ring back this went on for 3 months bill going up and up could not the payments from being taken as I paid on my debit card not through the bank and you can’t stop this type of payment so I concealed and went to EE but they tried to take out £60 when nothing was connected with them and and they promised not to take any more. Lucky I cancelled my debit card and had a new one.

I've ordered 2 with no problems. I had to back and or order one at a time
Does this allow hotspot?

I'm in the same boat. As I understand it, we would have to buy out the contract by paying for the remaining months' rental and pay £8.99 to unlock the handset.
I am with id mobile, the coverage is terrible
Rang up virgin they did 10gb for £10 I am a current customer bare in mind and I was in the cancelation line because I wanted to cancel but they came up with that offer which I was happy to just stick with them
With the rollover and providing your in a good Id/3 coverage area, it's a top deal. Been with them since Feb. Switched from Plusnet (who use EE network) Possibly coverage not always as good as EE but for 9gb pm & data rollover (that Plusnet couldn't match!) it's the best out there imo
I've signed up to the £8 a month Id mobile deal (4.5gb) through uSwitch but think this would suit my needs better. How would I go about upgrading?
