Mobile contract providers tend to increase your monthly tariff by inflation - and exactly which measure depends on the network:
Three: a Fixed Annual Price Change, 4.5% this year.
O2: RPI plus 3.9%.
EE, Vodafone: Consumer Price Index plus 3.9%.
The date of the adjustment also varies by provider:
Three: April
O2: Announced in Feb, effective from April
EE: Announced in Jan, effective from March
Vodafone: Announced in Jan, effective from April

What is Sim only?
SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.
You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

No they don't, they use 3.
I've just signed up to their £10 a month 40gb deal but I really don't need the extra 60gb I suppose !. Good deal for those who do.
Argh, they nearly caught me - thank you, it was definitely worth noting, as I'm trying to escape 3's rubbish signal AND ee's rubbish customer service
Badly. good luck getting an internet connection.
And for that reason.......im out!
I'm on Vodafone and partner with iD Mobile, we drove from Essex to North Wales last month and she had signal in so many more places than I did. We used her phone to listen to Spotify because Vodafone couldn't keep up.
I think those who insist Three is shocking need to have a little switch around, but also realise that just because a network is good in your particular area - it doesn't mean its a good network; it's just good for you.
Been with them now over 6 months and get 50Gb of data month for £10 a month and monthly rollover of data.
Like how you can cap the bills and get EU data.
The 5G data is great and have it many more locations than expected.
For some reason ID Mobiles website states 5G is only available on a small list of compatible 5G phones. But this is not true, as long as the phone is 5G compatible with the Three network is will work on ID.
Today, I just happened to do a couple of speed tests earlier.
Three 5G
Vodafone 5G
maybe consider that your experience is only unique to you, not the whole country...
COLD
I was with 3 for years and years. I used to be the envy of others as my data was way quicker... but the last year or so the speed has been appalling even with phone showing 4g I could barely get 2mb/s sometimes. It became intolerable. I switched to lebara and the difference is night and day for me. Same with my son who switched from 3 to talkmobile... also using Vodafone.
I get 5G on EE but more often than not my 4G speeds are better, I don’t think most people will get the full benefit from 5G until it is fully rolled out.
I thought 3 used their own network.
3 deffo doesnt use EE as I am on 3network on my phone and have to use a dongle which is on EE just to get internet in my flat, just to make it clear I dont have broadband. EE gets me about 70Mbps while I cant even even use the internet in my bedroom, will switch from 3 as soon as my phone contract runs out.
Speed test results are at various times in the city centre, would never use 3.
