Great fow low minute users as there is a decent amount of data. I know it's iD so customer service could be crap.

250 mins
5,000 texts
2.25 GB 4g data

You can choose to limit your bill to no more than £5 over the tariff price. Also you can roll your unused data over into the next month. So use only 1.25gb one month and you'll have 3.25gb to use the next. No need to choose one over the other now! Capping, eu roaming and rollover included in this package.

*officially no tethering but iD say it uses allowances quicker so don't support it but will NOT kick you off if you do!

*RPI Increase. The charges you pay will adjust (up or down) in line with changes to the Retail Price Index Rate (RPI Rate) set by the Office of National Statistics. We will adjust charges with effect in your April bill after the RPI Rate is announced for the previous 12 months to February. We will publish the RPI Rate on our website as soon as it becomes available.

Anyone had experience with iD mobile? Any good?
This deal has been running since at least Black Friday. Took it out and my "3" reception was between zero and 1 bar so cancelled it.

No issues when i was with them!
They've been ok for me. I found email was best way to deal with them. I've not had problems though.

I have been using them for couple of years. Single is a bit on the low side in my village, but anywhere else are ok.
I have had a id sim for over 2 years not a problem so far
They use the '3' network and this deal is available through the moneysavingexpert website at any time. Only been with with them a short time but easy setup and the app works well for monitoring your bill etc. Signal is a bit hit and miss but no different than 02 in reality.
They are owned by carphone warehouse.

They refused my TCB cashback for no good reason. Cannot recommend them.
If only the offer of a P10 was still available... Heat added.
No problem with ID here, been useful when I've needed to contact them.

You can also upgrade to this via the app if already on a 30 day rolling contract with them (unlike their previous deals). Already done that myself!

They pro-rate refund the line rental so the upgrade shouldn't cost you anything to do if already paying £5 a month (or more).

Since I usually use less than 1GB per month I'll usually have 4.5GB available thanks to the rollover :-)

Hi, I’m not seeing this deal on the change plan section on MyID. The only £5 deal on the Change plan section is for 1GB.

Thanks

Try pressing the 'upgrade' advert then filter by SIM only upgrades
Isn't it £6 if your an existing customer?

(Correct me if I'm wrong)
This is superb...been on similar tariff with them for 2 years now. Can't fault them, data even rollsover
Yes Intermittent 3 coverage, ID mobile customer service is $%"%^&*G CRAP.
I've had 3 issues and 6-7 LOOONG calls, no service for one month, and no compensation, just excuses and can;t do ethos Roaming in France didn't work and the CS couldn't help nor could their "technical" support who were worse then useless, again no compensation for no service- I'am only using them cos they are cheap until i find a better deal.
Think, BT at their worst, with Asian call center will give you the picture.

That’s great! I managed to find that sim only offer via that method. It’s getting me to go through some direct debit stuff, telling me that it will continue to use my existing direct debit etc. Just wondering if this was the same for you because it looks like placing a new order. Does it automatically change you to the new plan in your next refresh date and you continue to use your existing sim right?

Many thanks for all your help!

If your phone supports 4G calling (and WiFi calling) then the coverage is much improved.
Use their app for most things and their CS is South African so slightly slightly easier to communicate with.

Yes looked like that for me too but seemed to go through OK. They sent me a new SIM but didn't need to use it.

unfortunately I got tempted by a deal on this site. How I wish I hadn't. I now have a bad credit rating because of them. All for the sake of a £5 "deal". Steer well clear.

Can you explain to me how please? Im already with them and want to change to this deal, but when i go through what i think is the right process it takes to a basket, where I need to checkout and put all debit info in again?

Ooooh you're asking me to think back a long time now! It did go through like I was setting up a new contract, but direct debit info was pre-filled IIRC.
The process and emails said 'upgrade' enough to make me pretty sure I wasn't taking out a second SIM.

You have to pay them occasionally dear.
They even take card payment via their website and app.

I cancelled within 2 weeks. They took no notice and continued to charge - they then took out 15x the initial payment when I instructed the bank to stop the payment after two months of taking payment for no service. I didn't just pay them. They robbed me then gave me a bad credit rating anyway.

Three options -

a) Follow their complaints procedure... once it gets to the ombudsman they'll either fix it or the ombudsman makes them.
b) A polite but pointed e-mail to the CEO also helps clear these type of things up faster too...
c) Be nice to the nerdy guy in CPW store, they'll have access to internal contacts and numbers to fix things.
It is possible to reduce the cap to £1 if you know what you're doing. The website does not validate the contents of the form being posted back to the server - simply edit the page and change the correct variable to 1.00.
