Nope, as Turkey ain't in the EU. Prices for Turkey using ID are eye watering as well...

Tempted by this and on chat to Vodafone my current provider who say - Oh ok with ID plans those are basic plans, and also they might not allow you to move your number and they might be available on new mobiles only.

Sounds dubious to me - has anyone any experience of this please?

Worth bearing in mind that ID mobile allow you a roaming data allowance based on the monthly price. This deal gives you about 7.7GB to use which may be low for some.

Love the contradiction No it doesn’t work but here are the prices. So in fact it does work but at a cost. The EU has nothing to do with it. They include free roaming as part of your allowance in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Macedonia and Kazakhstan.

When I last checked none of these countries are in the EU. However agreed Those prices are a rip off or their negotiation team are useless. Sky charge £2 for 24 hours for your full allowance. So with iD 1gb data would cost £1500. I don’t know why they do this as you would just get a local sim or eSim to use. (edited)

    Replying to adam.yacub

I used this app “Airalo” there was a few different options for Turkey for different prices. Easy to setup the sim with the instructions. I was there for a week and still had 2GB left so 5 was plenty for me! ref.airalo.com/N2SP

Think this is your best bet. Sky only give 12 months contracts so unless you’re going to Turkey regularly and are in the market for a new sim it won’t be worth changing depending what deal you got. I was lucky when Sky were looking for customers and got 50% off plus a free sim which is now a pound a month but does me nicely. We go to South Africa regularly because of family and £2 for 24 hours was amazing. Also if you use less than 10MB a day it didn’t charge you at all great for those few WhatsApp messages I sent.

Managed to get unlimited everything for £10 on a rolling contract, not sure if it's worth it as I don't need unlimited data though. (edited)
