On the Three network. Don’t touch this with a 20ft pole

I'm on Three. No problems.

Both my children are on ID Mobile. No problems.
Just a heads up.
I was with this company and wrote to them to close my account. They acknowledged receipt of my request and told me to phone them.
I then stopped paying them (my bill was up to date and did not have contract). They kept charging me for another month or two. They then put a default on my credit rating, chased me very briefly for payment (which I refused as they had received my request to close) and gave up after a couple of months.
All for about £10.
Had this same plan since January 2018. IMO it’s been brilliant and I won’t be looking for anything more, I really don’t see the need for more data this day and age with all the free WiFi everywhere.

Can i upgrade to this from my current 1GB plan?

Thanks that did it, but do you have a link to the deal rather than the basket? I like to see any T&C's they attach to these things.

Just the link posted, but any relevant terms should be stated in checkout. Just check the site seperatlely for Their FAQ for anything else

I think ID leave a mark on your credit report file
I have checked the app. It says i can't 'upgrade' until the 23rd December but this seems to refer to a handset upgrade. I only joined them a few months ago.

I then went to 'change my plan' and this offer is not listed under the available 30 days contracts, just the usual £6 for 2GB.

Do you have to contact their C.S. to get the plan changed or is this not possible?
Finally! Been waiting for ages for ID to offer a cheap alternative to Plus.net. Nice one OP!
I'm currently on the £5 per month 1GB deal. I rung them to enquire about this and they said they couldn't see this deal on their systems so it must be exclusive to the referral link, therefore, they wouldn't be able to change me over. Very annoying.

Where did you find the deal out of interest, OP?

I'll check over the next couple of days to see if it goes "public".

Their live chat might be able to help, they won't help me as i have not been with them long enough.

Their live chat link does not exist for me on their help page, it was only when i was on their FAQ page and then clicked on one section of it and then left my screen for a while did a pop-up suddenly appear asking if i wanted to live chat.

Well that’s better than the 5000 messages limit on my current plan - better switch for the “unlimited”

Their website never works for me for some reason so I have to message them via FB messenger
Rather get plusnet where you always have internet and network. ID is going downhill as others are taking over such as sky

I tried the live chat first and they told me to call.
Thanks op, exactly what i was looking for.

I know that most people cancel their phone contract and then cancel Direct Debit etc. I do not do this for the exact reason that you mentioned, it impacted a friend that was trying to obtain a mortgage and cancelled a gym membership and then had to go through a similar rigmerole.

Live and learn for me I suppose.
I only found out about the credit default when I went to get a car. But didn't affect me much.
Not a bad deal if you have a good signal and if any unused data still rolls over but maybe that is only on 12 month contracts.

Yeah I know that! Leaves a default mark on instead.

Been with ID mobile for 3 years. I was on the £5 plan, asked to move this new offer and they refused. Punished for being a loyal customer. Will look into other networks with some courtesy now

Have some heat 🔥

Wi-Fi calling on id too!
Can I order this now and activate when my current plan runs out next month? Thx
Seen this deal on TechRadar this morning.
Ideal for light users and a "just in case" mobile.

WiFi Calling AND 4G calling. iD is just basically 3 without the roaming
I've had a nightmare with ID mobile. Charged me £25 (would have been more but hit my "safety cap") for 2mb (yes megabytes not gigabytes) of data whilst roaming in Europe.

Apparently on the ferry crossing from UK to Holland my phone connected to "an expensive satellite" according to ID mobile customer services. Hidden away somewhere on their website is a clause not covering ferry crossings!

Cheap for UK use but bunch of crooks.

No network will ever cover Ferry/Airline/cruise networks because they are god damn expensive. I always make sure that I turn my roaming off when I’m in a ferry
one month is a lie. I took out the one month sim. Notified them of cancellation within 3 weeks. They were still taking money for the following 2 months. When I refused to pay they gave me a negative credit rating which was still on experian 5 years. For the sake of a £2 saving they could have cost me my home.

Scumbags

Not all contracts do but ID Mobile definitely do and they dont take prisoners. They charge the maximum they can under the direct debit rules you sign up to (very small print) then out of spite give you a negative credit rating anyway.
doesn't appear in the app as an upgrade option.

Have a similar issue, but my cap was £5, and I wasn’t in a ferry.. lol
What is the minimum cap you can have with ID? Anyone know?
I would chose iD over plusnet and virgin and sky and voxi and any other MVNO they have access to three full network which allows them to use 4G calling and WiFi calling how many MVNO have access to full frequency apart from Bt as they own EE?
Mine is £2.00 didn’t try to go any lower

My ID app allows a cap adjustment of £0
