As you walk through the door of most supermarkets there's these huge bags …As you walk through the door of most supermarkets there's these huge bags of these slightly dirty round things called potatoes. You peel and boil them and then as the name suggest, mash. Why on earth would you buy this processed crap?

Great for keeping in the campervan for emergencies. Thanks OP.

Idahoan then I regretted it
Love a bit of mash.
I do normally cook from scratch including endless potato peeling and mashing BUT did pick up a pack of this a while back. I finally used it yesterday and really didn't think I would enjoy it... I was very surprised!! It's not too bad

It really is ok to have an easy option once in a while

Or for DofE expeditions
contents include sugar!!

not especially tasty either - both asda and morrisons sells sachets of mash, considerably cheaper and without sugar.

Cadbury's? Today's smash is Batchelors, I thought it always was.
People confirm for me, 1/6th of the pack contains 20.9g of carbs. The 180g pack therefore contains 20.9g* 6=125.4g?
