Isn't the name "Dear Park" a bit of a give-away?

well, it's like everything else....electricity and running costs have all risen sharply. But I still say its a great deal.

This is a fantastic deal, stop moaning

ye we used to go on north sea ferries food included and have overnight bed breakfast in a Novatol hotel then back on ship all for £69 ah them was the days the whole worlds got greedy

I remember my gran telling me of that 4* all inclusive hotel in rome for 5 Guineas 6 shilling and 4 pence the night including breakfast and private chauffeur....oh how greedy the world has become....LOL

Nowt for half term of course

the site is so slow

great deal IMHO, i looked at those places earlier in the year and it was eye wateringly expensive.

I think the website is having a bit too much traffic at the moment. It is impossible to use.

Just take the kids out of school and save a fortune. Plus, you can do their GCSE coursework for them when you get back.

had some lovely breaks at cropton and keldy sites. admittedly, the prices have increased, but the standard of the cabins have improved and the hot tubs are fab, especially when its -8 outside and snow up to your knees. I would highly recommend one of these cabin holidays. Great staff too! Voted HOT!!

Going on Monday to Sherwood forest!

Don't forget your can of chernobyly to spill on the hot tub controls !!!!!!

Their website is dying and the search facility is horrible. Select 2013 and months still show up as Nov & Dec. For that reason, I'm out.

The picture and title is misleading. For this price, copper, no hot tub,or extras. You need to add a fair bit more, as detailed much further down the op.

I can't wait to go at Easter. Just come back from the Forest of Dean. Love it. Expensive! Hardly, seen centre parcs prices? Which is no where near as nice. We always get the golden oak.

These are lovely cabins

We had the golden oak with tree house at deerpark earlier this year, and I have to say I saw a different more relaxed side to my disabled 5 year old. So much so we are going to Keldy for our xmas brake in just under 5 weeks.

Ps most of the parks have there own Facebook page.

Reminds me, must change my rear brake pads this weekend

Forest Holidays is fantastic, if you can get these prices I'd heartily recommend it!

Four of us and 2 dogs Stayed in Strathyre lodge a couple of years ago, cosy cabins, but with plenty of room, back window looked out over the loch, stunning views and great long walks, visited Stirling castle as it's fairly close by. Night times reserved for alcohol and food. There was barbecue facilities at the edge of the loch, but we never used as it got a bit wet at times.

Not really a deal, this is the normal prices for these cabins at this time of year but it is a great break.

This will be our third January break at Strathyre. We've booked the Silver Birches the last twice which used to have log burners, seems to be just the Golden Oaks that have them now. Bit more expensive but it's great to have a wee glass or two of vino in the hot tub before chilling in front of the fire. Also, we love the woodland walk into Kilmahog for a few ales & a meal at the Lade Inn.

Thoroughly recommended.

Went Cropton (Yorkshire) for a 3 night weekend stay end of Jan 2011 with my hubby & 3 lads (14, 13 & 8 at the time). We all absolutely loved every minute of it. Stayed in a Silver Birch I think with a hot tub, en suite, massive living room, fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating, backing onto a forest & bbq in garden. For my boys whose ideal weekend is on the PS3/Xbox this was a complete change but they loved it. Went on several walks & relaxed in lodge in evenings. Had a bbq everyday and used fully fitted, very modern & new kitchen also. It was super clean & cosy. Its in the middle of nowhere but perfect for those who want a few days to get away. We paid similar price to above, fairly cheap I'd say for 3 nights away in top accommodation. We took games etc but they had a lovely flat screen TV too with large sofas to chillax on. Highly recommended. Thanks op
