The code doesn't seem to be working however Student beans work around:

Click student beans at bottom, when that screen loads just click the back to Lenovo button (top left of page) and it lets you in the education store without logging in and can customise laptops to whatever specs are on here. you may have to do this a couple of times.

Thanks to superharber

£514.34 - the MX350 and sRGB100% screen makes a huge difference with the metal body to finish off. The optional 95W Typc C charger is a bonus with PD for the laptop. 16GB DDR3200 is going to help in future, note integrated GPU's eat into the on board intel RAM and I can't seem to find any other laptop that sells an MX350, only the older MX250 which is still expensive.

*Oh the IdeaPad i5 has 2x front firing speakers too
*The 2280 size drive (which is the one i ordered) is an OEM version of the Samsung Evo 970
*Manual says the 2242 will be at 2x speed rather than the full 4x speed with the 2280

Hope this helps, sorry for the delay in my response.

Thermals are amazing, may have headroom to overclock the MX350 (which comes from the GTX 1050)

youtube.com/wat…a5U - This is another review and also shows very simple overclock on the GPU (skip to 5:35):

Original post with different specs, this is where I ordered from and created this due to demand:

Windows 10 installation guide - For noobs (newbies):

Read below and check out this video

1.Buy a Window 10 key off ebay – search for the cheapest (between £1-3 – Windows 10 Pro Key 64 bit)

2.Get a 8GB or greater USB drive for the Windows 10 install (note it will be formatted)

3. Download windows 10 installation media (Link below – click download tool now and run programme)

4.Put your USB drive in your computer and follow instructions on Windows 10 setup – select create an installation media… English, w10, 64 bit. This will download the media on to your USB stick

5.Download drivers from Lenovo site and store on another USB stick or any other storage

1.Make sure you charge your beautiful new laptop and put your Windows 10 USB stick in the UDB drive

2.On boot it may read your USB stick if not you will need to go into the bios, when computer is turning on press F2 to enter set-up/Del/F10/F12/Fn & Insert – It’s one of them.

3.Once in the bios you can update your bios here (maybe do at a later stage – drivers in Lenovo site)

4.Locate your boot order and set your USB stick – you may need to use your arrows keys on your keyboard as your track pad may not be working or plug in a USB mouse to navigate. Save and exit

5.On reboot it will open the media file on the USB stick and begin to install windows 10 – please follow instructions – 64 bit etc and select your 128/256/512/1TB NVME drive you purchased as your install location

6.Once installed, then put in your driver USB files and install drivers

7.Run Windows update and install update once you have WIFI up and running

8.You are now ready to install your other software – I install Spybot and CCleaner too for extra safety (google), games and MS office etc.

I have also ordered this cheap case for my laptop (£6.59 at the time) – select 13.3” size as they are generally bigger – description meets dimension.
