If you like it then you should put a ring on it. Some bargains in Argos Clearance Jewellery. Instore only so go armed with some codes of the things you fancy. If they dont have it they will look on the computer using the most ancient software to find you one in another store. Doubt you would find a nice looking white gold ring for this price. Enough to pay to seal the deal while you save for a real diamond 💍💍. Its the sentiment that counts. Lovely ring in the flesh. Will post more bargain jewellery in comments so i dont fill HuKD thread with cheap bling.

And yet after 5 years marriage she will take it off on nights out
Some of the comments on this thread are ridiculous. Voted hot because some of these rings are an absolute bargain. I got a silver diamond ring there last week for a tenner and already have the CZ eternity ring. I wear them for work, they don't make my fingers green and I won't be too upset if in a coupe of years a tiny stone falls out because they cost me a tenner! Yes you have to go in store to check, but they can check of anywhere locally has it and in what size. Furthermore, not everyone has thousands of pounds to spend on jewellery, if they want to buy it at Argos leave them alone and stop being snobby! Best way to check is on the in store checker in clearance jewellery, you can see what that store has in stock at that moment.
Some of these comments are really pathetic and shallow! I had my first engagement ring from Argos 8 years ago when we first got engaged. It didn’t mean my partner didn’t love me.... and I only had a new engagement ring after mine broke in Work (kept knocking it and diamond come loose) and I would never accept a ring over £200!! Some of you need to lower your standards! Jeeze.... my partners cousins wife had an engagement ring she reckoned cost them £5000 and it looked no different to the ring I had from Argos when I was a in my teens! We have money and I don’t intend on wasting it on jewellery that you can get cheaper... :/

Not everyone can afford an expensive ring. Some people work very long hours just to make ends meet.
And according to whom should it cost a few months salary?

I can only imagine what my partner would think if I gave her jewelry from argos
Cause there's no chance of any of them been in stock that's why

Because its clearly emblazoned with the Argos Logo.... . White gold and CZ is what it is. Wont be better quality from Beaverbrooks. :/

The argos logo will not be on it I should imagine but when buying jewelry for your partner you should really make a better effort than go to argos IMHO, this may well be for certain people but looking at the massive discounts on the jewellery at the moment it looks at if not many people are buying them and could well be to do with the point I have made above.
They say you should spend a months salary on an engagement ring, perfect if you're caught up in modern slavery!
I tried instore to get loads of clearance rings ALL OUT IF STOCK .....that is why I voted cold
You vote hot if there available not just cause there cheap :/
Good deal just to wear as a normal ring.
Yea fine as a night out dress ring

You are of course quite right. Better a ring costing tuppence and given with true feeling than an expensive band gifted as a material exchange.

From some of the comments on here people of low incomes or struggling financially can't have emotions or relationships or experience the joys of love and commitment: all of which should actually cost nothing at all.

No logos on argos stock and just comes in a grey box. Unless your mr/mrs likes designers it really doesnt make any difference
Also amazing that a site where saving 10p on the price of video games causes a virtual stampede should suddenly turn it's nose up at jewellery on the basis that it's "not expensive enough".

It makes a difference to me for sure and I know it would make a difference to my partner if I bought an engagement ring from argos in the sale. It comes down to making an effort and saving up for that special engagement ring not just seeing an offer in argos and thinking hey I will propose now. I just think it should be a very special time when you get engaged and a ring from argos certainly is not for me.

Probably the same as when she received the bunch of carnations from the local petrol station, on Valentines Day. Might as well be hung for a sheep, as a lamb!

No an engagement ring isn't supposed to cost several months salary, that is lie told by the jeweler traders and Americans.
I never take wedding and engagement rings on holiday for fear of losing them. This is a fab replacement to take on holiday. I would also recommend them for those who aren't able to fit into their wedding and/or engagement rings during pregnancy.

A lot of derogatory posts will be from folk buying for resale not too mention from others like me allergic to commitment.
Heat for effort.
