If you live in Leeds the Kaiser chiefs are playing a surprise gig tonight!

Just got this e mail from the Kaiser Chiefs website

Hello

Cheers to all of you who've been downloading "Ruby" and those of you who came out to see us in Berlin and Cologne last week.

Here's a bit of Exclusive news, we're playing a warm-up show for our Radio 1 Doncaster Dome gig tomorrow (Fri 9th).

It's TONIGHT (Thurs 8th) at LEEDS METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY. There are no tickets for this show, to get in wrap up warm & come to the Leeds Met Uni box office now!!! Its open from around 9am. Its 15 pounds admission, the first 1,100 people to arrive will receive a wristband to guarantee them entry to the show. Doors for the show are 7:30pm tonight. Support comes from our friends Voltage Union who have a single out this month on Dance To The Radio.

That's it. See you there.

And for those of you who can't get in, we hope to see a load more of you at the Radio 1 Doncaster Dome show tomorrow night. Please remember this is being broadcast on Zane's Radio 1 show from 7pm on Monday if you don't make it to the show itself. Also on Monday 12th you'll hear the first exclusive play of "Everything Is Average Nowadays" on Steve Lamacq's show on BBC 6Music.

Finally for those of you who haven't yet done it, you can now download "Ruby" from Itunes, Napster, 7digital + MSN.

Cheers for all your support.

Bye For Now

Really like the new single but if I was them I wouldn't look on ebay at the moment. Their tour is in 'smaller' venues (i.e. not Arenas) and tickets for most of the shows are going for less than face value, in fact 2 standing tickets for Manchester Apollo have just gone for £21! Has their 'bubble' burst, I wonder?

Shame I don't live in Leeds coz I would be there in heartbeat!

Has the bubble burst?I don't think so,the new single is great and I am sure that their 2nd album will be a damn sight better than the biz that The Killers delivered with Sam's Town. That was a massive disappointment!
