Awesome bit of kit, worth every penny. - Only 2 left

Five star, all-inclusive sound performance, iFi Audio presents the top of the Micro line, iDSD Black Label portable DAC and headphone amp that delivers on all fronts. Capable of playing all digital audio files from MP3 all the way up to DXD with authority. Mico iDSD Black Label is enhanced from its predecessor with even higher-performing chips and parts, and a full regeneration of internal components and overhauled external design.

At the core of the Micro iDSD BL resides a dual-core Burr-Brown native DSD/PCM chipset that transports listening to extraordinary levels of fidelity. Equally talented in a dedicated system or computer-audio setup, Micro iDSD Black Labelalso makes for a true portable headphone amp/DAC combination without compromise.

Along with its high-quality op-amps and Sanyo OSCON capacitors, the iDSD Black Label provides interesting sonic options, such as 3D+ to focus the stereo image of the sound, and XBass+ to both deepen and tighten your bass frequencies. Its built-in battery can last between six to 12 hours and its side-USB port is capable of charging audio players, smartphones and other devices.

Are you on crack?

More than a bit unfair. Some will spend way more to tune their car, others on watches or cameras. It may not be your kind of thing, but it's a highly regarded piece of kit at a good price vs RRP.

I paid that for mine second hand, great price!
Does the USB cable have gold plated connectors?

You're being polite. The word is ignorance

What dac did this use? Would be interesting to see the circuit diagram as that seems alot of dollar if it uses an off shelf dac, ic amp and a few discrete components. Doesn't exactly look a premium product.

In depth review, and it's considered to be best in class for it's price point. It only unfolds MQA, the Pro model decodes and unfolds if that bothers anyone

Not totally unreasonable for what it is. I'd be tempted had I not just bought an SMSL SP200 THX AAA 888 AMP for £260 and Topping D50s DAC for £230 (so £490 in total). The AMP is great value for what if is. Wanted something in stock else I may have bought the Topping E30 DAC or SMSL M300 MK2 DAC instead to save a little cash but more than happy with the D50s for my Audeze LCD-2 classic headphones.
