Does anyone know how much these cost to run. I was once told they're about 45p an hour but don't know if it's true

Depends what heat setting you have it on? if it's the 2kw on highest setting constantly then yes, about that ,but remember it has a thermostat which will turn it off when the desired heat is achieved

45p an hour sounds quite expensive! Is this a good brand? As I’ve never heard of them before 🤔

At 45p per hour would mean you are paying 22.5p per Kilowatt for your Electricity, then you need to get a different energy supplier, but these are not recommended as your main heat source, as they are far to expensive to run. Great for quick fairly instant heat.

It’s about 10p per kWh so if it was on constantly say whilstwarming up it would cost 20p an hour, but once it’s warmed up and the thermostat kicks in then it should be much lower than that.
