I was in B and Q over the weekend and saw this deal instore but they had all sold out. The hob is now discontinued but available on the internet (i'm getting mine delivered on 18th November). It's probably not the best hob ever (in looks or performance) but for £40 delivered you can't complain. We have just moved house and thought this hob will do until we get a new kitchen fitted in a few years time.

Cheapest elsewhere (by doing a quick search) is around £100!

These closed plate jobbies suck. Our new kitchen had one and it was terrible. They're so horribly unresponsive. You turn them down and 5 minutes later they respond!

They also terrible to clean and the plates on our started to rust!

I ripped ours out and slapped a ceramic one in instead.

How much is the cheapest electric ceramic one though?
It'll be better than the one i've got at the moment (i hope ha!)... which doesnt work whatsoever!

Cold because these things will cost you a lot more in electricity over the years than the more expensive (initially) ceramic or induction types.

Not bad for those of us who ****** theirs (don't ask...) and aren't willing to spend tons of dosh until A. The new kitchen is installed and B. they have the money for a £££+ ceramic hob. .

These usually cost £80+ (which is shoking if you ask me!) so £40 is a fair price.
