Do you spend most of your workday joggling between multiple applications and windows and there is simply never enough of space on the screen? If the answer is yes – you’ve come to the right place. The 27’’ WQHD X2788QS can easily accommodate almost 77% more information on the screen than a Full HD display. Problem solved. Let your creativity loose, iiyama X2788QS will not let you down. FeaturesIPS Technology

WQHD
With true WQHD 2560 x 1440p resolution your monitor is ready to display high definition images. This means you can accommodate more information on your screen, i.e. over 76% more in comparison to a 1920 x 1080 monitor.

The ultimate solution for the comfort and health of your eyes. Flicker free monitors with blue light reducer function. Absolutely no flickering. And the amount of blue light emitted by the screen and responsible for your eyes feeling fatigued substantially reduced.

Speakers and Headphone Connector
Playing with friends? Use the integrated high quality speakers. Don’t want to disturb anybody? Plug your headset to the headphone socket and turn the volume up.

ACR
Contrast Ratio is a measurement of the difference between the darkest black and the brightest white your monitor can display. Advanced Contrast Ratio is a feature that automatically adjusts contrast and brightness of the screen to assure perfect picture quality while watching films and playing games.

refresh rate? Colour accuracy?

Also I'm wondering if you have an nvidia card is it an absolute waste if its freesync? I kmow it won't sync the refresh rate but I could over clock the monitor.

Quad HD, yet only 2k. Marketing at its finest

Was tempted by this - but doesn't seem to be much info online about it. Are these any good? Is it a complete shot in the dark?

Couldn't find any detailed reviews, appears to be a European model.

Use Google translate, pretty positive and the price is good. Tempted, but slight concerned from one review that it will be too bright.

Quad HD, yet only 2k. Marketing at its finest

Quad HD is exactly 4 x HD screen, which is 1280 x 720, so this product is 2560 x 1440. This is Quad HD resolution.
There’s no marketing error.
You’re thinking of Full HD and 4K.

QHD has always been 1440p.

The correct term is quad HD or 1440p, 2k is just plain wrong and means something different.

I’ve only seen 2k used as shorthand for 1440p, what does it mean if it’snot that then?

This is totally true. I have a Korean 1440p monitor and it has the QHD logo on it.
