*EDIT: Looks like the original info was incorrect and the curved version will actually be a VA panel:computerbase.de/202…PCw

There's also the GB3466WQSU coming soon which is a curved version with the same specs. *

IPS and FreeSync too according to description. What’s the catch?
Does gsync work on this?
I've been watching this monitor since it was announced. Days after buying Dell S3220DGF which arrived today. I get the impression from what I've heard from my IT vendor account manager who has spoken to Iiyama directly for me this will be available early / middle of May for UK retailers. Scan, Box, Ebuyer etc...

I'll wait to see wait other companies sell it for. £29.90 for delivery is extreme. You might save £29.90 (free delivery) buying it from retailers I mentioned.

Likewise! I want an ultrawide, and the Dell 32" posted on here a while back just turned up today! Debating returning it or selling it on and going for a 34/35" instead. Agreed waiting is likely to save more than that delivery fee - really annoyed I'd set up alerts at box.co.uk for the AOC agon 34, but by the time I got the alert it'd already been posted on here and sold out
I'm torn between going for the flat vs curved versions of these. I have a 32" and a 27" (mounted vertically at the moment) but thinking of going for 2 x 34", just not sure if it will be too wide if they are both flat, so I might end up waiting for the curved ones.
I think at 34” it needs to be curved for me. I know some people don’t get on with curved screens. Loads of monitor for the price though.
Up on Box now be it you can't order it - box.co.uk/GB3…tml

Best to wait a few more weeks then

I'll be picking one of these up in a few weeks as part of my ongoing desk setup renovation, I've been using a cheap monitor for years and I'm happy enough with my PC's performance that I can spend on the rest of the setup instead.

Who are alternate? Looks like a German site?
Impressive specification for the money. I have the Predator 120Hz X34P but if I didn't I would be all over this.
Ordered their 43" for almost the same.
Nothing but trouble with the two iiyama monitors we bought last year. I think we had 3 replacements in total.

For that reason alone I’d not buy again.

You mean will an nvidia graphics card be able to use freesync on this monitor? Most likely yes.

You really want the curved version at this size, can't imagine using a flat 34 inch monitor.
Seems to be a LOT of monitor for the money. I've come very close to opting for 34" Alienware, Asus and Acer models in the past (after seeing the 34" Alienware a few years ago at a computer market in Hong Kong, quite a sight!) but never quite pulled the trigger on purchasing as the £800 to £1000 price points make it not worth it, from my point of view.

Not gonna lie, this all seems a bit too good to be true! Looking forward to seeing what develops, thanks for the heads up OP.
Not sure if price was dropped but it's showing as £424 on their site now.
can G-sync on a 1080ti make us of the Freesync tech here?

Please let us know if you hear back! Really want to know about the curved version... could do with one of those.
paicently awaitng the curved version of this!!
I'm also interested in the curved version, can't find much info about it or release date? Anyone got anything? Definitely think it is better to be curved at this size.
Just to update. Still waiting to hear back....

Good to know, was told 34 inch flat will be problematic to see corners without tilting head or pushing it far back

To be honest, I don't think it would be that bad. I've been using a 32" flat for the last 18 months and that's fine. There's also very limited info on the GB3466WQSU (even though they were both touted around at the same time) so I might end up going for the flat one rather than waiting.

perhaps you have a deeper desk?

Possibly, the monitor is about 60cm away from the edge of it.

Bahh that sucks. I mean the flat is still pretty good with IPS but at that size you would want a curved

I am on the fence, I was initially going for a triple set of 24' or 27's but have been liking the look of some of these ultrawides and thought this curved one could have been the one, maybe the flat one will be, will have to wait and see when it gets released. It might be too far away if it is not going to be until June as I'm in a bit of a hurry to get it sorted.
Not directly related to this discussion but the Xiaomi monitor is currently under £400 for the curved. Not seen any review so no idea if it is anygood?
