After posting on the thread for the 60hz monitor and the comments going wild I just found this which I think is a decent deal for a 27" gaming monitor (I am not going to say pro lol).

Free delivery or Free Argos C&C.

Enjoy :-)

Actually scratch that as I have just searched the net and I think they may have either put 120hz in by mistake or they have the wrong model number and it is a 120hz screen??

Whatever it is, it's got to be great if you're a pro-gamer!

Grrr, good price but I really think 2560x1440 should be this price or close by now.

Well I know that hence stating they should be by now! Ding Dong!

Seems to be the going price really. £233 on Amazon and £220 on CCL. Looks like what I'm looking for in a all round monitor. Not sure if it is 120Hz as my link shows it in the specs but can't see it in the specs?
Are there any other similar/better High Refresh, quick ms, 27' and good panels for general use going for roughly this price?

change the resolution settings and voila , a hd 27inch becomes a 2560*1440, running this setup for a year no issues

it doesn't work like that you can't just add pixels in software

Of course, I'm such a fool.

Looks like a cheap kitchen appliance.

@ durzat,
It's your graphics card that does the upscaling and if you are too dumb to know that the software you use does not have any thing to do with screen resolution, the less you comment the better
