No hdmi?

You dont need it on a monitor DVI is the same thing, DVI is digital - HDMI is digital with sound. Absolutely no difference in quality.

There is a world of difference between Iiyama and Acer in terms of quality.

I would believe that ten years ago, back when Iiyama still made their Diamondtron screens that were, and still are, utterly gorgeous, but these days..?

Faced with a choice between Acer and liyama at the same price, I'd still go for the liyama's every time. I agree, it perhaps isnt as clear as it was 10 or 15 years ago in terms of quality, but they still make great products.

3 year on-site warranty. Does the Acer have that?

I won't touch acer with a barge pole, had nothing but issues with their laptops and tft monitors, plus they are always cheaply made. iiyama in my experience have always being a quality brand. HEAT ADDED!

Fantastic screens. Excellent quality at a good price and for this price it is amazing.

At the end of the day the Acer or even this Samsung is better than this deal regardless what anyone says.

First you sight lack of hdmi, when DVI provides the same thing, then you post about the Acer and then after people shoot that down, you post about the same deal again. In any other forum that would be trolling wouldn't it?

By saying "regardless of what anyone says" you are also saying that whatever anyone has said in this thread is wrong, and thats not only naive, but pretty dismissive of a lot of solid opinions.
Fair enough your entitled to your opinion, but do you need to air three times to make the same point?
