Have had mixed experiences with Unbeatable Gadgets. I placed a larg-ish order for myself and some friends to save on postage and get some Xmas gifts in early a few months back and for weeks they said my order would be delivered in their advertised timeframe (2 weeks or 10 working days). Eventually the 10th working day came and all I received was a PayPal email stating the order had been refunded (despite being advised the day before that my order was booked in to be sent that day).

Customer service left a lot to be desired; nobody made any sort of apology and they said they were within their right to do as they had done and that stock miscounts happen. They couldn't understand why I had a problem with the fact it had taken them two weeks to realise there had been a stock miscount, and why I was unhappy that the day before I had been told my order was booked to be sent, yet it was the next day (expected day of delivery) before they bothered to refund (without explanation). They also could not understand why I was upset about the fact that the refund had not been explained and that I had needed to call them to find out what had gone wrong with the order. IIRC the gentleman I spoke with was Johnny.

Saying that, I am aware there have been bargains with these guys in the past and lots of people will have had success with them. There was an issue last year iirc where they sent out a batch of radios that arrived damaged and were found to contain mercury - I picked this up from MSE when I had the problems with my last order.

It is a reasonable price for a DVD / Freeview Combi, but just be aware...

Cheers,

Sorry to hear about your problems iecuk.Havent had dealings with them before and did notice they are the clearance division of a place called fascin8.co.uk so maybe a good idea for people looking at this offer maybe not to go for it as a xmas gift.

Cheers,

Jon

I have bought several times from them and I have to say it has all been poor quality junk.

ikasu is the sit up channels own make

I have never used this site but i have had Ikasu braded items and found it cheep rubish
so add that to what people say about customer service equals a cold vote from me

I have purchased items through Unbeatable before with mixed results.
Got some good small televisions from them for myself and friends but had problems with some car DVD units with USB and the customer services as Jonbhoy and iecuk was absolutely dyer with a don't give a dam attitude.
