If its like the one I used to have you have to sleep that way round. There is a wooden beam going across the bottom so if you put the pillows the sensible end you end up sleeping with the beam in your back.

Bargain for what it is though, so heat added

We had this and it is uncomfortable in both modes! I really can't understand why they didn't spend the extra £3 odd for a piece of foam on the third section so you could sleep the obvious way round. Plus in sofa mode it all just slips forward. It is cheap though.

Agreed. As a sofa I'm constantly having to realign the cushions. Not very comfortable but would be alright for a spare room I suppose.

Nice price, but there is no Ikea within 90 miles for me.:(

Looked at this yesterday. Good price, but it'll be VERY uncomfortable as a bed and as a sofa. Doesn't feel very sturdy at all. As a bed, 2 sections are very thin foam, the third is the wooden base of the sofa. I would avoid.

I was considering this sofa some time ago, looks great for the price but when you see it, the design is ugly and the feel/quality of the material is poor. I would avoid unless you need something cheap.

Also, this sofa was previously retailing at £89.00 for some some

We looked at all 2 weeks ago and its not great, even for the price

Got for £89 a few years ago and its the worst sofa bed ive ever slept on no matter what way round you lie! Suppose it's good for student flats etc

I have this in my baby's room just to sit and feed, occasionally sleep on if needed. Have to agree it isn't very comfortable but depends on how much use and what it is being used for.

Bought one of these for the spare room for when people stay.

Bought a piece of foam (£5 Dunelm Mill) to fill in the top end and a cheap duvet to sleep on & it made it quite comfortable.

Do agree though that without the above it wouldn't be comfy.

Bought this about 18 months ago for the dogs to sleep on and boy, is it rubbish - paid £89.

Now normally I'm a big fan of Ikea furniture but this is very poor quality and badly designed. It is uncomfortable to sit on and, as already stated by others, the base cushion just slips out.

My advice would be to avoid but that said, we did buy it for the dogs and, so far, they've not complained about it.

Cold, no HDMI

Looks like an Onkyo/

Bought this a year ago for slightly cheaper, there ok for the money

Used this in the spare bedroom upstairs, not ideal but for £90 you get what you pay for.

Am I the only one missing something here? Its not really a deal is it.

This is the normal price. We bought this a few years ago as it was the only sofa that would fit in the space we had available for the kids room. The material is good quality and will withstand a rub to remove any marks that children may leave. The frame is pretty strong and will take a decent amount of punishment. The seat and back cushions are firm and hold their shape. However, on the negative side. It's been used several times as a sofa bed and it's extremely uncomfortable, I can't convey how uncomfortable it is. You'd be better off sleeping in the bath.

It's only worth a punt if you need to fit a sofa bed in a limited space providing you have a mattress topper or similar.

you are right - NOT A DEAL - normal price - I purchased this a few years back at £89 - so if anything it has actually gone up in price (inflation)

People who voted this hot don't understand sofa beds!!!

There is nothing worse than a sofa bed that is uncomfortable to sit on as a sofa and uncomfortable to sleep on as a bed. This is both.

So uncomfortable, we looked at this before opting for a different model. You really have to hate the people who may stay over to consider purchasing this.

Avoid Avoid Avoid this sofa, not even wirth 40 quid. Very bad quality cotton like and wears out so badly and discolouration when tried wiping. So uncomfortable to use as a sofa or bed or anything. we hardly used ours and we were shocked how badly it aged with hardly any use wiyhin a year.

Rubbish! I have got one and it is very unconfortable!!
