Just had an email through for this deal on the DUKTIG play kitchen. I don’t have any kids to buy this for myself but I know that these are quite popular to customise and play with and seems like a good deal to me. It’s free to register for an Ikea family card so worth the effort to get the discount. I usually shop at the Warrington store but assume it’s nation wide.

What a load of rubbish! Children are little brains wanting nothing more to develop and the very least we can do as parents is to aid the learning process with imaginative ways to learn. Not only can parents sit and play kitchens with their kids ( guilty as a dad I seem to be drinking too many cups of imaginary tea and wooden toast) but this things help kids play on their own my now nearly 3 year old daughter plays with her kitchen to this day and we got it when she was 18 months. Investing in role play toys is worth it but it also helps if the parents get involved and make it interactive instead of shoving a smart phone or tablet in their hands!

Rant over - good deal op

Yes - my 3 yr old loves our block of kitchen knives - he nearly took his arm off with the carving knife but at least we haven’t filled the house up with crap like this! Blimey - I bet you & @colourpie are a bundle of fun!
Hot from me.

This is a great little play kitchen and my daughter played with this for a long time. Sold it for £30 after as it was still in great condition. Much better than the more expensive garish plastic ones you can get.

How old is your child?
Got this for my kid's first birthday. She's nearly 4 and her and my 1 year old son play with this daily. We got some wooden foods and utensils to go with them. I have to eat pretend cakes everyday but at least they are calorie free.

My 3 year old still plays with hers after 2 years. Maybe take the iPads away and watch
Good timing, we are after one of hese for the kids!
Good deal, would just say you may also want to check local sales groups they're are loads of these kicking around in great condition.
Got this for my little boy for his 3rd Birthday hes 4 now and uses it to store all his treasures. Hot from me
Voted hot! Yes, kids may not use it all the time, but this is because they may have too many toys. This is a good deal and certainly better than the plastic ones. If you miss the deal or can't get it from Ikea (as far as I know, they still charge ridiculously for delivery), keep an eye on Asda website, they have theirs reduced once in a while to £35-40. We wanted a wooden kitchen, after we've wasted money on 2 flimsy plastic ones, it took us a good few months to find a decently priced one, do not spend more than £50, as you can get decent ones on sale for under this price. Well, not sure now, with Christmas coming, but keep an eye.

Does anyone have a copy of the email they can post up here. Was looking at going to get one today for my little one but if this offer is in I can wait until tomorrow. Just want to confirm it's OK in my local as I can't see anything about it online.

I did post a pic of the email originally but the mods changed it. The small print just says: Offer valid from 14 October to 3 November 2019 or while stocks last.

Not a bad option if you want to be the second Ramsey, but you still don't know if it's your cup of tea.

Heat added.
This is a popular item in our toddler group and is well made. We had to remove the little frying pans and pots we bought for it as they became 'weaponised' by one or two of the little darlings......
Definitely one of the best play kitchens out there at this price! Got it at full price and would pay that again happilly.

We have a play kitchen that my daughter has played with for nearly five years, her little brother also loves it.
Keep in mind that these are easily customisable as I did for my daughter last Christmas. Plenty of YouTube videos showing just what to buy and what to do - these can look incredible for really cheap!

Weird, I just bought this today at IKEA in Reading for the full price of £60. Just my luck!

Bought mine 3yr ago to replace bigger plastic toy kitchen. It is played with daily by childminded children and my 5yr old.

Wee tip paint blackboard paint on the back for a cafe too and add normal kitchen utensils and empty real food packets to add more play.

Oh no it doesn’t start till tomorrow
I recommend securing this to the wall or floor with a strap or screws, as it can be a bit unstable if (when)your toddler tries climbing it! 😬

Bought one 6 years ago - the youngest 3 have played with it more than any other toy. The 5 and 2 year old still do all the time. Highly recommended by a father of 4.
Was just about to purchase, then I had an email the next morning! Seems the best play kitchen imo.
My email was Nottingham, but can anyone confirm in Wembley also? Thanks.

Thank you, will head out tomorrow and see if I can secure one!
This kitchen is great and a good price heat from me
One of the best toys we ever bought. We had it for six years and drank a million cups ot imaginary tea. I was quite sad to see it go!
Just ordered! The extra bits from duktig to play with are on offer as well with the family card!
