Don't forget your £30 bookcase:

or £4 coffee table:

(I got the oak the effects seem quite nice but the reports of it being scratched easily I can believe, 2mins of screwing in table legs and you have a coffee table...)

I have two of these and they are very good. They also do a father/son light which has the spot light as well as the uplighter - a bargain in my book

£8 mind, but still not bad, looks like that E14 socket for the spot light is just a small edison screw in which will take energy saving bulbs and not the power hungry halogens it recommends

Bargain indeed, I just converted a large house in southport into 5 bedrooms for letting, put the £8 NOT light in each room as it gives an uplight and a reading light, billy bargain indeed. The £3 light is a gem, I bought 15, keep them in the attic ready for the next house project, same with those cheap table, buy plenty and store away ready to throw in the properties. Top deal indeed.

thanks for this, I wasn't aware Ikea were selling online, the last time I looked they did not have an online shop and I was really disappointed as I live in rural west wales and the nearest Ikea is over 100 miles from me.

rated and voted hot

These would be so much nicer if the cable didn't sprout out right near the top and dangle down everywhere looking messy. How difficult can it be to make the cable come out the bottom, seriously?

They're great for the price well worth the cash!

They were never £8 - noy in ours anyway. They were about £4.20

Todays Eastenders just finished and I wanted to point out that the silver version of this lamp, also £3.51 was in the office of Ronnies Club should anyone want to see what it's like lit up...
