If you choose to build the wireless charger into a piece of furniture of your own choice, we recommend you use FIXA holesaw together with FIXA screwdriver/drill 14.4V or FIXA hammer drill 14.4 V, sold separately.

If your smartphone doesn't support wireless charging, you will need to complete it with VITAHULT wireless charging cover, sold separately. Note -VITAHULT is not compatible with all smartphones.

It's not only for ikea furniture you know.

I actually did think about doing this with a bedside cabinet that I was going to modify with a new top and a cheap wireless fast charger but then I thought what happens if it breaks then I've got to take apart a piece of furniture to replace it when I could have just put it on top.

That's actually there to show how to orient your device. You have to line the device up with either of the lines of the cross for it to charge, otherwise it doesn't work.

Not my experience. I have one of their desklamps with the built-in charger and it doesn't matter which way the phone lies.

And to answer the other question, no, it's not a high-speed charger. But it does the job of topping up the phone while I'm at my desk.

As the charging tech is a coil, as far as I am aware, there is no need to line up lines

Dimensions look like it might fit into a standard cable aperture in a commercial desktop?

Anyone know if this works with apple watches?
