What a review!
I bought three of these accursed things because I liked the smaller ones that have served me well in my kitchen for several years. My existing ones are sturdy, reliable and beloved.
Putting these larger, most evil items together is not a job for small hands with long fingernails.
They have turned out to be the most irritatious and frustrating bit of kit IKEA has ever had the indecent arrogance to produce.
After many, many minutes of aggravation as I strove in vain to assemble these illegitimate spawn of a twisted "designer's" imagination, I resorted to flicking the alleged screws into my recycling bin, whereupon each pinging sound afforded me some satisfaction.
In the finish the mini shelves of Hades were assembled using my favourite adhesive, No More Patience.
Only get these if you suffer from low blood pressure and you feel you want to raise it.

Just what I was looking for. Shame minimum order quantity is 3! £4 from IKEA. Cold for me.

I agree. Almost impossible to put together securely. Mine still wobble hugely, glue is a great idea I'll try it

Just as an FYI, IKEA Kuggis boxes size 26x35x15 cm DON'T fit under this despite what you may think due to the round leg on this shelf. Had to cut it off with a saw to make it fit! (edited)

they can be a bit of a pain but have built 12 of these and there is a knack to it, firstly there are two sets of screws (different lengths) one for securing the legs and 2nd for screwing two shelves together, make sure you have the shorter screws for the legs, make sure the corners are not bent in before you start and bend back otherwise will be fighting to line everything up, a couple of mine looked like had been dropped, put screw through hole in top of shelf and then put leg to screw, dont put leg to shelf and then try align screws as a lot harder, make sure you have a good screwdriver as there is some resistance and the screws are weaker than the legs so will chew them up 1st. 1st set was hard but flew through others, hope this helps. Damn, I've just expired this deal and was planning to post it again. I've ordered 2 initially, after than another 2 and another 4 lately . I did not have major problems with putting them together. On one of them I've used the longer screws as it didn't work the other way. My wife could not put them together.
My experience with these is ok. I usually buy Ikea chairs and when i put them together, for some reason the final product is a table, wardrobe or anything else it should not be . My brother hires a handyman when he buys IKEA stuff .

I have 6 of these and don't have any issue with sturdiness - perhaps it is due to the weight of items on top of them? I have them in the utility room with washing liquid and fabric conditioner on top in a basket. My husband has them in his study with Lego and Warhammer figures on.

I managed to put some together myself with a hand screwdriver and then a couple were done with an impact driver for speed. Honestly, if I can assemble something, anyone can!

sorry but to not have to drive to ikea through one of the worst motorway junctions in the uk and follow the one way sheep system round the store, id be happy to pay more!

I'm still waiting for the small one to come back in stock it's been about a month or two now
