I've been looking for one of these for a while, but at £19.50 it was way too expensive. This device has very good reviews on the M&S site and at various other sites - just search in Google.

But now they're half price at M&S - £9.75. I managed to use a code for 10% off women's wear and got it for £7.80, delivered to store. The code I used was: PERWEBI5

A unique and revolutionary personal safety alarm for women. If you're attacked the adrenalin in your body can cause you to lose your voice. This small alarm emits an extremely loud female scream designed to shock and disorientate your attacker, giving you a chance to flee.

This stylish alarm is designed as a discreet accessory that can be kept close at hand - attached to a key ring or clipped to your handbag. To activate, simply pull sharply on the chain.

If a woman can't let out a scream of her own -
there's no way she's going to dig around in her handbag and manage to find this!

Not half price and that code doesn't work either

DAMNOME

Exactly because with the shock you freeze

quite depressing that someone is considering buying this. Do you really feel that unsafe?

Aren't you supposed to carry this around in your hand ready to use, rather than go fishing through your handbag as an assailant starts raping you?

Well My Mrs is always screaming about M&S Prices !!!!!!

These links outline why safety alarms are so useful - they also say that the police endorse the use of safety alarms. If they weren't any use why do the police endorse it and why is there such a big market for these things?

Also, the whole point is that they shouldn't be kept at the bottom of a handbag - the page even says it should be "kept close at hand - attached to a key ring or clipped to your handbag".

It should shout out, "Fire!" as strangers are far more likely to respond to that than a scream or shout for help.

put one round your neck atleast if your getting strangled you can still scream lol put another one in your knickers if your attacker gets that far

Showing at £19.50 now

Wouldn't this be confusing for the rapist? he'd probably think "I'm going as fast as I can here!"

Ask your local Police if they have any of these....Most will give you one of these FREE
