Was looking for an iMac - noticed very doing 20% off first order but this is not my first order but still worked.
Noticed very saying about £50 on certain apple products but this took 20% off - I ordered just now for delivery before the 2/6/16 on 12 months free interest

You could get the faster cpu and M395 for the apple store price of the mid range I have purchased (or close enough)

That's £309.80 discount - code is 6WTKT

Good deal if it works for you
Yeah paid 2569 for mine, obviously with upgrades.
great deal
If it wasn't your first order, Very will take back the discount in a few months time
Rubbish - code would not work otherwise - suggest people try it
Plus worse case it's still 50 quid cheaper than Apple and bnpl
Great buy if you can get it, I paid about this much but with standard hard drive. A good way to save money on a Mac is to just have the basic drive and use an external usb 3.0 caddy and ssd drive. I've been using mine like this now for around 6 months and it's never failed. Boot times went from 60sec to under 20. Read/write from 114mbs to 350mbs. You could get thounderbolt for even more performance but for the money usb 3 does a fine job.

How's the performance of the ssd via use? Do you ever see the beachball? I have a fusion drive which is really good but it's really too expensive.

Very do this because they can. Discount code says excludes Apple. Just because it looks like it works doesn't mean you won't get them asking for the amount you had discounted off in a few months. Happened to loads of people on here. We are all just trying to help mate.

I don't get any issues with it at all, I did have to set it to keep power to usb when in sleep mode as it did crash a couple of times at first. I've read that's the one benifit to thounderbolt because that's doesn't happen as it turns on quicker, but because it's ssd I don't think it really matters with it being left on all the time. I leave it on a lot in stand by and it seems to be fine.

This is the caddy I use, powers from same usb and is really cheap, I highly recommend.

Interesting. So do you have OS X on the standard drive then use the SSD as your main storage solution?
Great discount if it works but I'm a bit wary to order if they pull the discount in a few month's time. Has anyone seen the terms for 6WTKT discount code excluding Apple products?....I can only see it saying 'Excludes sale items & delivery charges'.
M0nk3h - I have a similar set up with OS X installed on a thunderbolt drive and use the built in drive as a time machine disk and photo storage, works really quickly and with out any issues - had this set up for over 12 months

Ah that's a neat idea, over comes the stupidity of not being able to replace the internal drive. My 27" came pre-configured with a 2TB Fusion Drive but if I had the standard drive this is what I'd do.

Appreciate it, If that happens then it will go back, plus i did it on my partners account and her credit limit just about covered it, so by charging more would take her out of her credit limit making it all a bit grey area.
I will not be using it for a good month anyway so will leave it boxed and see what happens.
Fact is I only purchased it because of that price shown in cart.
Thanks has planted a seed that it could happen. mind you still on par price at 12 months bnpl

I expect a 5k 27" 4ghz i7, M395x with good SSD for that price

I am using a SSD in a USB caddy

Easy to install os x onto it

Boots really really quick

The hard drive inside the mac can be used as additional storage but I am using the external ssd for os and storage

I'm tempted, but think as I can get a student discount from Apple, and based on previous experience, AppleCare works well, will wait to see if a new model appears in the autumn as rumoured with a new GPU.
Not so sure on them rumours and I will be buying apple care for 3 years from Apple like you would normally

Yawn

What do you mean yawn? That is actually a customised top end spec for an iMac which I just got. But then again you won't know about the customised ones.

Of course I know about it but what we expect for X amount of money and what we get are 2 different things. We would all like the best spec for the least money so why make such a "predictable comment" unless of course you can show me where to get your amazing customised iMac for a little over £1200
I mean we all know for £1200 we can get a 5k dell monitor plus a pc spec twice as good at every level other than cpu but who cares, I have had so many PCs but I want something that looks class in my lounge not cumbersome or with wires everywhere, so I want this dual booting Windows - I think with the screen on this it's well worth the money as I hardly game on pc (even when I had SLi 970s ) and have a Xbox kicking about for odd game of Fifa

So I'm not allowed to guess the spec of member slannmage?

Better go to sleep.
The code seems to stop working!!!
There is a new code on their website. KFTE3

Not working for existing customers though.
Well whilst everyone is freaking out about that cheap laptop at very using the same code, my iMac with fusion drive is sitting here waiting for me to open it up. Will leave it boxed as moving anyway for he next few weeks so will give it a month, that said even at £1549 it's still £50 cheaper than Apple at the time and 12 months interest free so happy anyway but let's hope that does not happen , win and happy .
