They dropped the price of these quite significantly last year just before Xmas. Don't think they are as popular as Lego or Playmobil... possibly because I hear they offer less 'playability'? As in you have to build the Lego bits and the Playmobil ones come with loads of props. Can anyone who got these previously pls tell us what you get with Imaginext one? I love the toys but undecided whether the advent is worth even this much.

There us a picture on website of what u get, includes motorbike, figures, cones & other accessories. The 2 reviews seem positive too

That looks like the picture for last year.

This is last year's version. It's good though!

Thks... I'm comparing this to my 2012 Lego City one and Playmobil one the year before. I just don't think that it's worth the same price as the others. Last year's Lego had 2 vehicles in 3 parts (snow buggy & sled), 7 mini figures, a dog and an Xmas tree (that's about 50% decent stuff, 50% fillers).

From the pic, this only seems to offer 3 figures, 1 dog, 1 vehicle, at a push, 3 spare vests for the figures (a third something decent, two thirds fillers). I know Imaginext figures are more substantial than Lego minifigures, but I think for that £12, I can get an Imaginext Batmobil half price at Toys R Us currently, representing better value as I think Imaginext's strong suit is their vehicles/ sets, not their figurines.

Thks for sharing tho, OP. Not trying to rain on yr parade as this still represents a hot deal for anyone still looking to buy these (other 2 really aren't toddler friendly). Just reasoning why I should prob stick to Playmobil.

Yes I think it's a good deal, but have decided to get a Playmobil one this year. We had Lego city & friends last year, but I have heard that u get a lot more in Playmobil.

Good deal but I think I will also stick with Playmobil this year, had two so far and by the end you have a full set to play with. Can recommend the princess wedding one and the pony ranch.

Possibly 20% off this weekend?

Ah Christmas is coming, more often known as a mugs guide to losing money.

Paid £7.99 for this last year and to be honest it wasnt that good. The day that my son got a traffic cone... couldnt bare the excitement.

Paid £7.99 for it last year just before christmas and I wasn't impressed either. They knew what they were getting everyday as there was a picture on the back so it wasn't a surprise, they weren't overly excited about opening them when they knew they were getting an axe or a spade etc.

just been up to smyths and there 6.99 now
