Non-Imax screen have the two Captain Avengers Movies while IMAX has Avengers Assemble and Captain America The Winter Soldier. Strange but I didn't make the rules!

1st one was terrible, is the new one supposed to be any better?

I thought the first one was ok, but enjoyed second more... Although maybe this was partly due to it being free on imax cheers $ky

Was lucky enough to go to regional premier in didsbury last Thursday to see The Winter Soldier and I can honestly say and it's well worth seeing. Think it's just behind Avengers Assemble but not far behind in term of all the Marvels films.

... But think I'd be half deaf if I watched 2 iMax movies back to back.

just for your info on certain cinemas like nottm they ar offering this version and both captain america films

I'd be up for it if it started at 7. Staying up til 2 on a Tuesday? I'm too old for that. Still least the Imax would drown out the sound of my snoring.

yeah i'm up at 6am for work!!! gutted :$

I have a feeling that's because Captain America wasn't filmed/available in IMAX and you can't show a "normal" film in an imax screen.

You can 'show' a normal film in IMAX, but you lose the whole purpose of showing it on an IMAX screen. Better to show Avengers Assemble as it was filmed in 3D Full-Frame with IMAX optimisation

The first one was great I thought but more than any of the new Marvel fans it was very fan targeted as it's based on the excellent run by one of the best comic writer around right now, Ed Brubaker. Winter Soldier should be amazing as the Winter Soldier comic was fantastic. It's more a kin to the modern spy films like Bourne etc.

Forgot everythings digital now lol. Was thinking of the old style massive film reels.

Me and the Mrs were both really disappointed with winter soldier. A big let down imo.
