Director: Ben Burtt
Description / Plot Summary: Blue Planet
Blue Planet reveals the Earth to us as only few people have ever seen it: from space. Orbiting 200 miles above Earth's surface, we can see familiar landforms: the majestic Himalayas, giant Namib desert sand dunes, jewel-like Caribbean Islands. From this unique vantage point we see how natural forces - volcanoes, earthquakes and hurricanes - affect our planet, and how a powerful new force - humankind - has begun to alter the face of the Earth. From Amazon rain forests to Serengeti grasslands, Blue Planet inspires a new appreciation of life on Earth, our only home.

This is meant to be stunning according to one of my mates....yes I have 1 :-p

Great price anyways, should suit some of you.

The Dream Is Alive appears to be the better movie.

is there a lot of these imax docu's out?

it'd be nice to see a blu-ray boxset of them all. I like my docu's

Not sure about a box set, will have a scout about, I'm pretty sure you can get a box set of all the HDScapes, from the official website...but note sure about the IMAX jobbies.

Still remember going to see Matrix Revolutions in IMAX in the tunnels section....awesome, felt as though falling into screen.

I want super speedway and nascard 3d on blu-ray.

if i could get them together with this blue planet from the same place i'd be a very very happy man.

I've got teh nascar3d & super-speedway rips but they don't play back on my HDTV for some reason

I've never been to an imax cinema, i know they have on in manchester but i've never been

It was the one in Manc I went to in the Print Works. Worth it once for the experience...pick a half decent film though...Super Man Returns kinda blew...

I wish i'd gone there to watch the dark knight.

not gonna be a great film but should look good in imax if its shown should be the new fast and the furious film.
