As part of this epic deal, you’ll get to experience your favourite movies in IMAX – for just £3 per film! Yes, really! Some films have just got to be seen in IMAX and we’ve chosen four of the best to bring back to the big screen.

First up, we’ve got white-knuckle, outer-space extravaganza Gravity starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

Then, Matt Damon is stranded on Mars in the Oscar-buzzed thrill-ride The Martian.

Get up close and personal to dinosaurs in prehistoric blockbuster Jurassic World.

And finally, multi-Oscar-nominated, relentless adventure Mad Max: Fury Road gets the IMAX treatment.

Tickets are going fast, so don’t hang around! Experience the sheer scale and spectacle of IMAX and click here to book your tickets.

This looks like really good value with some great films there

Decent, shame my nearest cineworld imax is miles away

Woild have liked to see the martian and Jurassic world. Saw the other 2 in cinema

Op you're quick. Got 2 tickets for Fury Road although watched it as soon as it came out. I'd recommend gravity any day. Thanks

Good find! The cost is £3.70, I think, but that includes free Imax glasses

seen all four and would not recommend gravity at all watched it in imax 3d and it was a freebie still disappointing
£3 is very good price other 3 films if you have not seen them enjoyed Martian and jurassic world mad max was ok

Cold - seen them all - and you should have known that

I really liked Gravity especially in 3D, one of a handful of films that's better in 3D. Seems a lot of people really don't like Gravity though. Ah well I can hear Einstein saying in the style of a mid 1980's Yellow Pages ad "I were right about that Gravity"

Thanks have booked The Martian, has had good reviews

Im with you, really enjoyed it in 3d unlike others ive seen, namely pirates of Caribbean and spiderman. Gravity rocks in 3d

For an Imax film fest I think they could have chosen films that showcase the format better, for me Avatar was by far the most visually impressive, the Dark Knight Rises also had some amazing scenes. Everything else in Imax is usually good but not many have that 'Wow!' factor.

I got tickets for The Martian which I was planning on watching at home soon anyway so big thanks aing69 OP

I saw Star Wars The Force Awakens in Imax 3D, no 2D showing sadly, but it was still worth it, I saw it in the new Imax cinema in Bromborough North Wales, I soon forgot about the 3D and enjoyed the film. I then saw the film again in 2D in Boongate, Peterborough, and maybe it was the film, but I really didn't like it much on the second showing. Not sure that was a cool story but it's true

I would urge people to watch these at a true IMAX theatre and not one of the "fake" ones. In Scotland, the only true IMAX is Glasgow Science Centre. But even that no longer screens in 15/70mm. In England, you guys have a little more choice. Heat op.

Do you think you'll have to pay extra for 3D glasses?

EDIT: On the Website when you pick times it says:

"Your selected screening is IMAX 3D with Standard seating. IMAX 3D glasses will be provided at the cinema."

I saw it in IMAX 3D too and although there was a lot of nice 3D - like the big ship slowly coming out the screen, I found it overall really tiring and hard to follow the action comfortably

Gravity is the only film I've watched in 3D and the viewing experience was properly enhanced. Tempted to try to go to Gravity, Martian and Mad Max all in one day.

The Martian is extremely boring, but Jurassic World is brilliant! I saw it at the BMI Imax and it's worth seeing in a larger screen format.

No IMAX Cineworlds in Kent and even the O2 Cineworld hasn't got an IMAX screen so it would mean trekking round the M25 to Crawley which probably isn't worth it given I've seen all 4 films already!

Quite fancy the martian and JP, seen them both and would like to see them again.
However Boldon in tyne and wear won't allow you to select the date

Is this cineworld doing its bit for social housing or something ?

Whats with all the old fillums then

There are seats available at Sheffield just book online

That and the Crawley IMAX isn't even the correct screen size (it's smaller than the standard IMAX dimensions).

website is experiencing heavy load, keep getting error 404, timeout:(

Any discount for Cineworld unlimited black card holders?

Nice!! Cheers OP

I've seen them all already but heat nonetheless.

Coming up at 3.40???

I thought the Martian was a surprising good film, mind you I did have low expectations of it.

Jurassic World has, I'm afraid, jumped the (prehistoric) shark.

Such a poor addition to the franchise.

Seen them all , but not watched Gravity in 3d

£3.40 includes booking fee

Wanna watch Mad Max as I missed out on it but... I don't want to watch it in 3D

Heated. Good price if you can get booked.

As far as 3D goes, it's fine. I hate it too normally but after about two minutes I tuned it out and didn't notice for the rest of the film.

On the flip side, it's phenomenal in IMAX. Well worth seeing it for the audio alone.

The book is really good if you're into that sort of thing if you enjoyed the film I defo recomend reading or listening to the audio book.

Stevenage has loads of Gravity seats available. Be quick to snap one.

at that price I'd go and see all four of them AGAIN
