Why to clone my self? One terrible example is enough 👹
From the author of "quantum discoveries & biblical revelation". Surely the Nobel is in the post?

If you met your clone would you get on?

probably, yes - the world is full of stories about brothers & sisters who get separated at birth then meet by accident later in life, not knowing who they are, and are instantly attracted

now, I'm not a 'twink' - no problem with that but I'm not, & I wouldn't be attracted to myself

but give me a young attractive female version of myself, and who knows?

winsome smile, short skirt, athletic body, fun personality yet engaging and attentive in a listening way - what's not to like?

that's me in a nutshell, only I'm a bloke

you could bring up your clone offspring to be better than you

like training a clone pup to do cleverer things than it's 'parent'

They said get on not get it on, but thanks for the eye-opening revelation
'~~~ You will not be the same again after reading this eBook.'

In what way? I wouldn't mind a few extra inches...on my height that is.

I am sure his name came up in addition to similar loony Christian apologists and advocates of 'creation science'. Along with those other prolific authors about alternative 'legitimate' science fields like Dianetics or crystal healing.

Ken Ham medal of honor nominee perhaps
Cloning is irrelevant. Yes, we can do it, but compared to world changing germ line technologies like CRISPR, it's a sideshow.

not sure CRISPR is entirely ethical, it's only a whisker away from eugenics

I suppose that's the way the world is turning - we might as well manufacture worker drones who don't need paying so that we can have a lazy life
As Karl Pilkington once said about meeting his clone, 'How would I know which one was me?'

It's probably the most powerful technology that almost nobody has ever heard of.

Well I'd say it depends on what it's being used for. I'd have no issue with it being used to tackle cancer, HIV, blindness etc.

You are correct, of course.

But the 'it depends' bit worries me.

Too late to worry about my own fate in this world - but I'd like to think my kids don't have to deal with this stuff being used unwisely.

A pandora's box situation would be pretty worrying aye.
