so if that plugs into the ciggie lighter how on earth would that work in most cars that have the socket in the middle of the dash, that things so big it's never going to stay in, unless there is a lead on the other end that the photo does not show ??

Nope, no extra lead - it plugs straight in but the end is sort of hinged so it can be moved up and down/from side to side ... still blooming awkward though and it's really heavy too especially if you have a large plug in it! :?

I think it is the time to invent (make) your own extension lead for ciggi

I think if you like to spend more maplin has got something far better than this.

Do they have any lead on them because I'd say this really needs to be resting on the floor due to the bulk and weight. We're lucky that we have an extra socket on the parcel shelf so we can plug it in vertically.
