I totally agree Barky, this is for the people who don't have a Blu-ray player/PS3.

May want to point out it's not available until 6th December!

If I bought this now I would forget by then!

If there are actually people on here who still haven't used the 15% voucher I would hope that they wouldn't bother wasting it to save a miserly £1.50!

is it blu ray quality at cinema?

wouldnt by any dvd for 8.50 these days. dvds are worthless now bluray is around lol.

im sure many willl buy this as an xmas gift however.

Your text here

The film was shot primarily in the anamorphic format on 35 mm film, with key sequences filmed on 65 mm, and certain other sequences in VistaVision.

Nolan did not shoot any footage with IMAX cameras as he had with The Dark Knight. "We didn’t feel that we were going to be able to shoot in IMAX because of the size of the cameras because this film given that it deals with a potentially surreal area, the nature of dreams and so forth, I wanted it to be as realistic as possible.

Not be bound by the scale of those IMAX cameras, even though I love the format dearly". Nolan also chose not to shoot any of the film in 3-D as he believes that shooting on digital video does not offer a high enough quality image.

Good price. I'm not totally sold on Blu-Ray yet, and still pretty happy with DVD's.

what a stupid comment on a DVD deal thread.

I paid for the entire family to watch it in the cinema and would buy a blu when it comes under £10. This movie's well worth it and if you want to steal media please do so but don't go around posting in threads! It's not funny and not something you should be proud of.

I agree good price. However the film isn't actually that great in my opinion so buying it on blu ray won't change that. I lost interest in the film whilst watching it in the cinema, I thought I must have missed loads of the plot as I wasn't concentrating, so a few days later I checked the synopsis on wikipedia and it turned out I hadn't missed much at all. All the talk of having to see this film more than once to understand it is truly over rated. A film that kicks this one in to touch is Memento.

You are all dreaming.

I suggest you start spinning your totem.

I wish some one would kick me out of this one then, it's a nightmare.

Haven't seen this yet but can't wait to

Cinema film is typically projected at 2x - 4x the quality of blu-ray/hd-tv

seems daft to offer this now months before they get it the price will drop a lot by then....lol

Hmm, you wouldn't think so based on my local cinema (St.Austell).
I guess technically the resolution may be better but I'm sure the colour saturation isn't as good.

I use a 1080P Projector over a 106" screen and I much prefer the picture to that of the cinema.

Same here.
99% of the UKs population don't have a Blu-Ray player or a PS3.

I also do not tend to buy blu rays unless I think its worth it...some dvd's are beautifully upscaled on my PS3, and with the correct picture settings image clarity can be vastly improved.

Get the ultimate version on Play with the attache briefcase. Looks awesome.

Erm I've never used this code? I'd imagine that this website gets more and more new users every day who are also in the same boat as me.
