Chest Freezers are not everyones thing but a good deal at moment is this one at Currys for £159.99 including delivery. Top cashback looks to be a massive 1.57%. Quidco havent checked.

The Indesit OFAA200MUK Chest Freezer makes a cool home for your bulky items - preserving freshness for a longer life.

Fresh freezing

A 201 litre capacity makes room for larger frozen goods like meats and large bags of vegetables. A wire storage basket allows you to place goods neatly for an organised storage.

Food protection

A high temperature warning light gives you a visual indication when the temperature is too high and frozen contents are in danger.

What's more, a 70-hour power failure storage time has your contents safely stored for nearly three days if a power-cut ever occurs.

Appliance convenience

With a front drain position, the Indesit OFAA200MUK freezer makes the terrible task of defrosting a whole lot easier. An internal light gives you clear visibility when rummaging for that leg of lamb, while the integrated handle makes it harder for children to access.

Awarded with an efficient A+ energy class, the Indesit OFAA200MUK Chest Freezer runs on less energy consumption to save you money - a first-rate storage solution.

Great for freezing your reduced food, not the biggest but not a bad price

Good for the price!

I'm an admirer of any chest that big.

Been keeping my missus in this for 14 weeks now - still fresh.

Looked at one this morning as i need a freezer, but it is jus too big? But an absolute bargain as the ones displayed next to it were half the size and twice the price, it was hard to walk away...

Looks great. Any deals on a frost free fridge to complete the set?

Dammit, I came in here to make a serial killer joke but I can see I've been beat, hah.

awesome

Is there any company that can compete for these type of ,electricals nowadays ,with Comet gone ,does Curry's have any competion ?

Appliances Online do pretty well, I buy most of our white goods from them, but this Indesit was a bargain so I had to get one.... Thanks OP!

Got mine delivered last week, won't come through the front door, had to take via neighbours garden..love it works excellent and generous size...only problem is my shopping for frozen items has gone viral

it's says it's suitable for outbuildings - dyou think that includes buildings that can have a temperature as low as -1, say in the winter in a garage? google didn't explain what "N.ST" climate class is about...

We've had an old chest freezer for years now and I suspect it's costing me more than I know about to run so this seemed like a good time to buy a new one! Cheers for posting.

Ordered (via TCB) to replace a 27 years old chest freezer in the garage. Still works but the lid is covered in rust and it's constantly frosting up - so that's probably not very efficient
Curry's t & c say they will take away the old freezer - if it's defrosted.

2 to 4 weeks wait now but thanks OP

Mine said that, but as I posted earlier, ordered yesterday, told today it's coming saturday!!

hope you get good delivery men, some of the currys delivery people for london bash the appliance around your house, some have a serious attitude problem. Currys should employ better people. Best experience with Currys is the website and price and ordering.

You'll wait 2-4 weeks and they'll either not get it in or ask you for extra money...Currys are a shocking company, that don't care about customers because they think they have competition...Buy from ao.com and you won't be disappointed plus they price match

All online apart from Argos, not really the same as walking into a shop like currys. John Lewis is competition with regular price matching going on (providing they sell the same product).

coming saturday good deal Thanks

Just had a phone call from Currys

Mine's being delivered tomorrow - Ordered on April 29th

Ordered - Hot.

These become expensive to run, and ice up, only if there is lots of empty space. When you open the lid warm moist air rushes in. After the lid is shut the freezer has to cool the warm air and the moisture condenses. Simple solution is to fill the freezer - doesn't have to be with food - use empty boxes to pack it out - should reduce both ice and bills.

This is still available. I ordered this afternoon and received a confirmation email and a text from KNOWHOW to let me know they are dealing with my delivery.

Mine arrived lunchtime and is up and running.
Excellent machine and deal

Thanks again OP

Mine arrived safely today.

Despite all the negative comments about Currys and Know How, I paid an excellent price and got brilliant communication from both companies

I opted for the free delivery option with a 7am-7pm time slot.
At 7am this morning Know how sent me a text advising me of a 4 hour slot this afternoon.
10 minutes before the time slot, they called me to advise they were 10 minutes away.
They arrived, took my knackered old freezer and carefully placed the shiny new Indesit in my garage.
I've unpacked it and it looks great, masses of storage for all my future HUKD frozen deals!
Just waiting for 2 hours as the manual advises for the gases to settle then I'll plug it in. 6 hours later it should be ready to go

Thanks again to the OP!

Bargain and ordered - thanks OP

Working again just ordered got confirmation and delivery slot x
heat would be given if I could!
Thanks op

Why is this expired?

Still available!

Great needed something huge like this to store her rack

been looking for a chest freezer to take advantage of the farmfoods £2,50 off £25, £5 off £50 and £10 off £100 vouchers as when I do go I usually have to leave some items due to lack of freezer space at home.

reckon this could pay for itself within a year or so with the deals.

As it happens, I ordered this a few days ago with estimated dispatch of 2-4 weeks. Has actually arrived today and seems decent. Quite big in fact and I would say bigger than what's needed for most households. Tried to move it in to the cellar but failed.

thanks was looking for one ordered

Cheers OP.

Ordered a few minutes ago for delivery on Monday. Could have even had it delivered tomorrow..,

Appliances Online (ao.com) which is supplied by DRL limited which supply loads of other companies if you google them.
Also appliances direct, loads of others to compete with often rip off currys
Accepted all online but no big deal esp for white goods when being delivered is more convenient for most anyways.
Look at the item in currys by all means then by cheaper and delivered online

Oh and this is a great deal HOT

Would take a long time to re-coup the £160 from the energy savings

They will take away your old freezer foc - as long as it's defrosted!

Tempted, but will it cope in a garage when it gets cold in winter.

eye will
