As above, ordered one of these last week and I’m quite impressed with it so thought I’d share it..

Decent price for a built in double oven with the 2 year cover.

£300 @ Argos
£279.00 @ Currys

Also in white £224.99

Stainless steel is oos but that was £225 last week so worth keeping an eye on that as and when they have stock

Hope it helps someone that needs one.

Their reputation has been set mainly by the recent tumble dryer scandal but their quality is suspect and their service backup is dreadful: so bad that they've been severely criticised by a commitee of MPs in the House of Commons. Just Google their name and see what emerges!
Where cheapest place to get the unit for these to go in

Freecycle?
Thanks!!
Be aware, this is a fire hazard

Seriously if their other items are anything to go by then you are better off looking elsewhere. Their fridges are a firehazard, their washing machines and tumble driers are firehazards. You get the idea? Poorly made products with no regard or concerns about the safety of the purchasers of their products. They have been repeatedly asked to recall their dangerous products but show little intention of doing so.

From Which: "Hotpoint was linked to almost a third (31%) of fires in tumble dryers that were linked to faulty appliances and leads"

official recalls: https//ww…isk
I wouldn’t touch Indesit aka Hotpoint with a barge pole - the same brand of fridge is what stated the Grenfell Tower fire.

And read a Hotpoint fridge freeze was cause of Grenfell Tower fire.

Wow, tumble dryers, fridge freezers, washing machines, all potentially deadly, thank goodness this post is for an electric oven then 🙄

U do realise that it's not that difficult to change a freestanding oven to a built in one. The oven in the photo could go be positioned ground level providing the electrics are behind it. You just need the correct cupboard panels. A hob on the other hand would need a new worktop.

Yes I do thank you We have a freestanding cooker and I hate it, miss the nice built in one we used to own. We've just moved house and I want to rip out the horrendously designed kitchen and have a nice new one.
what size is it . In mm
I I have one of these coming up to 15month old (originally bought for £250 from AO) and it works really well for what its intended plus needless to say the defrost feature is great and wouldn't buy another without it. no issues bar one and does get used allot. The only downside is that it leaks from the door, more so when you open it and there is condensation on it (better gasket seal would make no difference). Its annoying as it drips onto the door beneath it. I have since engineered trap that looks in keeping and negates this problem.

Never had this problem (or at least dont recall) with the freestanding beckons unit it replaced which lasted us about 10 years.

Would advise going to showrooms and looking at designs to negate this problem other than suggestions to cover moist foods with foil.
