Not shooting it down, but if you buy it check for a green dot sticker, which indicates it has had the fire safety modification and if it hasn't got one you need to register with indesit. see:- hotukdeals.com/mis…719

On the upside if it hasn't been fixed you may be offered a brand new replacement.

Thank you do much Melted.

I have this machine and did not Know about the recall. I always felt the machine ran too hot as it had melted my mattress protector and fluff seems to pass the filter so I have just registered my machine as it is a problem unit with no green stickers.

I can't thank you enough

I bought the same model from John Lewis 3 months ago and thanks to your note, after checking ref. numbers, have found that it's on the affected list!
Wondering whether it's best to contact John Lewis direct or go through the (apparently) prolonged wait for a repair/new machine route. Thanks for the link re. problem, Melted!

so only 1 in stock and is ex display

I wonder how many people went in for that one.
I will continue for the rest of the week
I would've gone and got this except all
my other appliances are black or silver and so ideally wanted a dryer to match. Heat added.
