One-year manufacturer’s guarantee

factor in the additional warranty that will be needed

These have a 10 year warranty at the min but excludes labour at least mine does thou it is a xwb71252 but it is a 7kg one

The warranty only covers you for mechanical faults- mine was 6 months old and the rubber on the door had a problem. I was fuming as i wasnt told this when i purchased the washing machine.

yep and that's how they get you, they then try to sell you the labour warranty which costs a fortune. up side is you end up with a new friend, the engineer will be in your house more times than some of your relations in a year. you may be lucky and get a good one but.....

one of the first or many issues we had with a brand owned by these was the bolts that hold the concrete weight snapped after 4 months, they blamed it on a non manufacturing fault and we had to pay the labour charge even though it was only 4 months old

EU law gives you a mandatory warranty of 6 months and the sale of goods act states that the product must be durable for it's intended purpose, so if I were you and I had one which broke multiple times within a couple of years I'd get a refund.

Just clicked on this to buy and it is £279-99
