The adventure continues...

The newest Indiana Jones adventure commences in the desert in 1957 - the height of the Cold War. After barely escaping a close scrape with Soviet agents Professor Jones returns home to Marshall College only to find that the government have forced the university to fire him.

On his way out of town, Indiana meets rebellious young Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), who has a proposition for the adventurous archaeologist: If he'll help Mutt on a mission with deeply personal stakes, Indy could very well make one of the most spectacular archaeological finds in history - the Crystal Skull of Akator, a legendary object of fascination, superstition and fear.

Nice. I think I'm the only person on the planet that thinks this is any good. Certainly not a patch on the original trilogy, but a hugely entertaining movie nonetheless.

H+R

I enjoyed the film right up until the ridiculous ending. the orginal trilogy had great story lines, where as this one was just a bit silly for my liking!!

what about that monkey swinging bit? or the nuclear bomb proof fridge? please.....

cheap tho .....

I thought this was a good deal for £4.99 at Morrisons recently.

The film is quite good except the ending which ruined it really.

just because modern fridges probably wouldn't withstand the blast and subsequent travel across the desert, doesn't mean that the older models wouldn't!

lol ok true but the occupant wouldn't survive the impact either way!

(plus even those 50's fridges wern't lead lined, but i know u was just joking)

It deserves heat for the price. But the film is beyond terrible IMO

I think the South Park episode called "The China Probrem" summed this film up perfectly - Spielberg and Lucas raped Indiana Jones, Indy deserved more.

I loved the film, thought it worthy of the name and that's a great price, so voted hot.

squeal piggy! They raped him!

I wouldn't pay full price for it, but at this price it's a great purchase for my dad. Heat and rep added.

Seconded. This movie (if you can call it that) doesn't even warrant adding to a torrent download list nevermind spending money on it.

It's okay apart from the ending... and the middle... and the bit at the start.

Hmm, judging by all your hatred for the film, I might wait until its REALLY cheap on Blu-Ray,

At least then it'll look pretty..

I wouldn't buy this if you paid ME £3.99!!

One of the worst films I've ever seen

Fridges in the 50's were lead lined and quite possibly likely to withstand such a blast.

No doubt about it - but some utterly "worst film ever" comments show that the posters haven't seen many of the movies out nowadays.
Compared to 95% of movies doing the rounds the last few years, this is a classic.
Its all about perspective.
Yes, its abysmal when compared to "Raiders" but compare it to - say, "High school musical" and it's Shakespeare !

I think people are being overly harsh. It's still an okay film, agreed not up to the standards of the first two but still good family fun. Now about that ending......

Err ... even Mark Kermode prefers HSM to this Indy film!

The 2nd Transformers movie is dire but I'd rather watch that again than Crystal Skull. In fact, I'd rather walk on broken glass than watch CS again!
