I don't mind the fourth one tbh. Not as good as first, but wasn't a great fan of second either. Hot though.

Really? Gosh T.o.D. was the only one I found hard to watch as a kid. ("Kali ma, Kali Ma, shakti te!" Rips out heart. lol)

Been many years since I saw this, are all the film's 12 rated? Don't remember much violence in the first, or swearing or sex. Trying to find a 'safe' family film to watch with the kids, that isn't some Pixar or Disney film
I find the first unsettling especially for children with the Nazis melting ..ditto the second with the sacrifices . The third was better . The fourth an abortion

The first was pretty violent for a family action/adventure. No swearing or sex though. I was just 11 when I first saw it and loved it although some scenes were a little unsettling and stayed in my mind for some time afterwards. Wouldn't let fairly young childen watch it.

I haven’t watched the trilogy since I was a kid,the only disturbing thing was the ghost scene in Raiders, and I found it really terrifying but I remember that Kalima scene too! but I had no problem with that as a kid lol and the third film was boring for me back then.
I just ordered them,it will be fun to re-watch them after sll these years.
Great price for 3 amazing films.
For any fans of Raiders, there's an amazing transcript online of the development meetings between Spielberg, Lucas and Kasdan. They go through all the major plot points and ideas, brainstorming all sorts of stuff. Its a goldmine of info for any fans of the film, or screenwriting/storytelling in general.
I actually liked the fourth one... right up until the end. What a complete turd of an ending.

Wonder how it went on discussing the ending of Kingdom...

"Lads, we've been at this for ages. We really need to sort out the ending! I'm gasping for a pint here!"

"Hmmm... How about some some sort of flying saucer thing?"

"...................... (sighs) OK, fine. But you're buying!"

If you're a fan of Raiders then check out Jamie Bennings filmumentary Raiding The Lost Ark.
says £18 for me with that discount

i have the dvd set and the whole family watched them over the festive and loved them ..... there is literally no funnier action movie than the last crusade .... my youngest was even in knots ..... anyway a few scratches on the discs so thinking why not get them in bluray ..... would rather get from HMV for £17 ..... maybe they sold too fast and decreased their voucher value ?
