hugely underrated. Not as coherent as the other games but some of the mechanics are superior to the Miyazaki's.

EugeneVictorTooms

Haha, yes it is mate and my username! Good spot! (highfive)

MrYorkshire

Yh, I was going to post this myself, but I've seen cheaper and it seems to be on sale around the 7-8 pound mark quite often. By the way, just realised, is your profile picture from The X Files :)

EugeneVictorTooms

Voted hot because it’s the cheapest today but this has been around ~£8 for about a year on cdkeys and various other sites (just put “dark souls scholar” in to the search on hukd). It has also been less than £6 on the very site you’re posting this deal for (3 weeks ago). You’ve not been looking very hard OP (embarrassed) . However now you have finally got your hands on it- you’re in for a treat - a truly brilliant game even if it’s not quite up there with the first.

I paid £79.99 for this on N64 launch day and it was absolute shite even then. Christ knows how badly it's aged now.

The "trilogy" of this, Sniper ghost warrior 2, and a standalone DLC usually goes for under £2. That said, they're terrible games - Sniper ghost warrior 2 was unplayable due to bugs, such as enemies being made invisible.

For anyone else that still had trouble... I can see the Millie mass giveaway banner on the home page, which states I have to log in. When I log in the mass giveaway banner is gone from the home page. So I cannot click on it again. If you search for millie on the store you need to pay for it. If you see the categories on the left hand side. Click on massive giveaway tab. Scroll down to the bottom and there you will finally find the millie mass giveaway banner again... kind of hidden ! Close the overlay Finally click on the banner to claim the game

OK got it now. The instructions were confusing but now you have updated them it's made it much better. Cheers.

[–]indiegIndieGala 159 points 1 year ago* Hi everyone, As you may all know, we experimented with G2A Pay since earlier this year and it is now over 24 hours ago that it has been removed as a credit card processor from IndieGala. An agreement we made with G2A solely for the benefit of our users was violated and we took immediate action to prevent anybody from becoming affected. For those of you who are unclear about the rationale and timeline involved in these decisions, we'd like to share a brief rundown. We opted for G2A Pay because of its competitive fees that would allow us to create even better game deals for our userbase. Our agreement with G2A was that their payment processor should work exactly as our former. The only exception was that they would bring in even more payment options on top of competitive fees. We made a public statement when users voiced their concern about the switch to G2A Pay. Of course, we meant every word. At the beginning, G2A reassured us that no mandatory or automatic registration to G2A Shield was on. Before going live we did tests and confirmed this. Thanks to feedback from a few users and the GameDeals mods, yesterday morning we discovered that G2A had switched G2A Shield registration to default to "ON" whereas initially it always defaulted to "OFF". When we discovered this we immediately removed G2A Pay as our payment processor and reverted to our former. TL;DR - We experimented with G2A Pay only for the benefit of our users and the possibility to create increasingly awesome deals for them. Once we discovered that our agreement had been violated and that it could harm our users, we eliminated it immediately. We have no plans of enabling G2A Pay again especially in the event that G2A does not clarify its position to us, and thus to our users, ensuring that malicious activity will never be encountered during transactions. This was a real betrayal of our efforts towards our community. We apologize to the few of you who may have been affected and please reach out to us for support if necessary. EDIT: Update We have spoken with G2A and have concluded on the G2A Shield auto opt-in incident. G2A reported that the whole problem was caused by an IT error – they were testing a new checkout and unfortunately there were some technical issues. G2A Shield was supposed to be disabled on this checkout as it was initially, but due to an error, it ended up being enabled. We want to assure all of you that NO ONE will be charged for G2A Shield. G2A is currently deactivating every Shield that was turned on in our store. Additionally, everyone who was affected by this issue will get a surprise game emailed to them as a small token of apology. This is a link to the G2A Pay's comment. Thanks, IndieGala Team

xavk

I got this last night from here and I can confirm that it includes all DLC available in Steam today including Shen's Last Gift, Alien Hunters or Anarchy's Children. I dont appear to have been signed up for G2A pay (at least not yet).

Bob_Green

Wouldn't trust this site after it automatically signed customers up for G2A pay when they made a purchase. Dodgy at the least without letting people know. Be aware. reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/5x5rny/psa_check_your_email_to_see_if_you_were_signed_up/

Very disappointed, expected a lot more from a Sega sale. Majority of it is just add-ons\extra packs for a core half a dozen games or so which, has been rightly pointed out, seem to be always on sale somewhere.

This particular game was an asset flip of a game from the Unity asset store, the only thing they changed was the name of the game. It was originally called "Super Platformer 2d". All the other games by the same developer (Crimson Duck) were exactly the same. Still it's not the worst game in the world, just not there's to sell.

hnk999c

This game and its developer were kicked off Steam for producing poor quality shovelware using stolen assets... Try searching Steam - it doesn't exist. The code will work because it has to be there for the poor sods who bought it when it was first added. Quite why IndieGala are still giving it away is questionable..

Just a little note that happy hour is now on this bundle, which means that anyone buying while it's on (usually only lasts 24 hours at most) will get 2 x the games, so can gift the extras to friends or giveaway sites (think someone did/does one on HUKD). On the negative the price does go up during happy hour (currently £5.04), but will fall again once it's over. Check the red banner at the top of the page to verify if happy hour is on when you buy this or any other Indie Gala bundle and don't forget to check the little tick box on the right if buying during happy hour. If you bought the bundle before and want more games you will get 4 x games if you buy again during happy hour!

MisterTIBS

Been looking for these, in all the wrong places. (Just wanted to say that) Anyhoo, would've loved it to include the latest remake but that would've been too good to be true - though having tried demo version of it I wasn't impressed anyway, so maybe best keeping it apart from these ones :)

Malabus

Me too on the Amiga.

Hillzat43

I seem to remember from my mis-spent past, that was the password for the door bouncer :)

dWiz

Played all but the last of these at work in the late 80s - before the network police controlled what you had on your work PC. Then you just loaded up whatever and nobody knew or cared. Seem to remember a boss screen that brought up a crappy graph if needed! Havevthe final game still wrapped and sealed - don't have the inclination or time now. Heat for the nostalgia.
