Okayyyyy, so if a product does not contain any meat, what makes it halal?

Halal just mean permissible, doesn't necessarily have to relate to meat. A cabbage is halal, for example.
Anything halal always gets a cold vote....didnt know so many people had tried halal and hated it cos it tastes no different - only that people of a certain faith are ALLOWED to eat it much like something that is kosher.

lots of additives that contain animal products

lots of additives contain animal products hence even if something doesn't contain meat, it could still be considered not to be halal.

All the muslims I used to work with stuffed their faces with KFC before it went halal.
I find that a bit hypocritical.

the horendous way the poor noodle is cut X)

they are made within guidelines from the Quran

and the noodles are prayed around by people doing what i can only discribe as a noodle rain dance. ok i made that up but it makes it sound better
I'll be the first to post an objective comment on these noodles. MUCH BETTER than the Pot Noodle brand, very tasty. And at £12.71, ok-ish price for 40 packs. They're quite widely available in Chinatown in London for 40p per pack, so not really that much saving unless you don't live close to a Chinese supermarket.
hahahahaha!! another hot halal deal!

40p is quite expensive for indomie, they cost around 25p up here.

boonkoh

What a makes a person religous and follow their faith ?

Its normally one who practices their faith and not the label he/she is christian, hindu, jew etc...therefore they must go t ochurch on a Sunday if they don't they are ?????? this is what gets attached to them by ignorant and misinformed people and also with the help of the media...

If you bothered to learn to read you will see that contains - Artificial Chicken Flavour and the packet tells you its chicken flavour , just like steak flavoured crisps or do you get steak in your crisps
You can get these for 30p a pack in local Chinese shops, so not a hot deal imo. We did try them once and didn't think they were anything special.

For some people everything is funny even if its not funny just because it sounds better.
But isn't Pot Noodle and Super Noodle also halal as they also contain artificial flavouring? So don't see the point of posting the Halal part.

I don't think it's a great deal, if they were a mixed flavours or something, 10 of each of flavour then maybe i'd consider it, but the idea of finishing 40 packs of chicken flavoured noodles even over the course of six months makes me feel quisy. But if I see single packs i'll give them a try.
They been eating Halal their whole life at KFC and Dominoes and never complained, or that lamb they bought from the supermarket, or maybe when they dined in at nandos
Why is the majority of this discussion concerning the fact that these are halal?

If a posting highlights a price for a product significantly lower than prices elsewhere then it's a hot deal, if not, it isn't. Isn't that the way this site is supposed to work?
